Umar Johnson vs Tariq Nasheed-Manufactured feud?

Umar1..

Dr. Umar Johnson, was born on August 21st, 1974 in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the eldest child of 11 children, and after attending elementary school, he enrolled in a para-military high school before going to summer school in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. There he performed mandatory JROTC (Juniors Reserves Officer’s Training Corps) duties.

After Fort Bragg, he went to Millersville University, in Pennsylvania, where he attained three degrees. One, a B.S. in political science, another in psychology, and a master’s degree in School Psychology. After this, he received an “Educational Leadership” master’s degree and “Principal’s Certificate” from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he received a PhD from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic medicine, in psychology. For a total of 6 degrees in all.
Tariq Nasheed was born on July 1st, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan. And in his early teens, he and his family moved from Detroit to Birmingham, Alabama. Needless to say, the social life a young Tariq saw in his new environs paled in comparison to the bustle he’d grown accustomed to in “Motown”.
Thus, at 17, Tariq cobbled together $125 for a bus ticket to Los Angeles. And it was there he cultivated the pimp personae that helped him curate what he called, “gaming techniques”. He came up with a technology called “G.I.C.2”, which according to him, stands for “game, intelligence, and common sense, squared”. Unfortunately, employing some of these methods resulted in him having to serve some time in prison.
After being released, Tariq continued plying his trade as a “macking mentor”, to the point where he was able to parlay his enormous street cred into an acting role on the “Bravo” cable TV network. There, he portrayed an actual pimp for the filmmaker Michael Moore, on his show called, “The Awful Truth”, which aired from 1999 until the year 2000. After appearing on the show, Tariq put his lessons of “serial flesh management” into a book he wrote in 2000 titled, “The Art of Mackin’” (TAOM), which became a New York Times bestseller.
Seeing that he struck a societal nerve with TOAM, Tariq followed up this book with one called, “Play or Be Played” in 2004. This tome catered to women wanting to know how to find Mr. Right without being a sex toy to hundreds of men in the process. Then, he followed this book up with “The Mack Within: The Holy Book of Game” in 2005. Tariq was becoming somewhat of a guru in what mainstream culture was calling the “seduction” industry, as he followed up the aforementioned book with the title, “The Elite Way: 10 Rules Men Must know in Order to Deal with Women” in 2009.

Thomas Jerome Harris, a.k.a. Tommy Sotomayor, was born on December 11th, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia. Joanne Malone, Tom’s mother, had already separated from his father when she moved a pre-teen Tom to Phoenix, Arizona.

Now, Tom purports to being raised in a household where he lived under the tyrannies of Joanne’s abuses. He says this is the reason he’d later go on to be in an unsuccessful relationship with the mother of his own child. And when he fell behind on his child support payments for this child, he was thrown in jail.

After leaving jail and graduating college, is when Tom began his radio diatribes that scrutinized Black women, and the Black community in general, for being morally bereft. And shortly thereafter, is when Tommy moved his radio broadcasts to “YouTube”. After 2010, the following he garnered from his videotaped radio shows, had turned him into a bona-fide (half) celebrity. Much to the chagrin of Black folks.

Now, let’s talk about the term “Hegelian Dialect” which was named after the 19thcentury philosopher G.W.F. Hegel. And “Hegel’s Dialectics”, like other “dialectical” strategies, refers to the method of arriving at the truth by employing a contradictory process between opposing sides. Meaning, Hegel believed the best way for people to find out the truth, was by splitting a questionable theory into two diametrically opposed sides, looking at the discussion in between, and hoping that’s where folks could find out fact from fiction.

Tariq..

And in more layman’s terms, philosophers have come to call this the “problem, reaction, solution” method of elitist control. Meaning, the elites create a problem for the proletariat (us), wait for the target demographic to react, and then, they offer them a solution that furthers the (white) fascist agenda.

Case in point, as of late, Tariq Nasheed and Dr. Umar Johnson have developed a “beef” over differing points of view.

Now, Tariq says Umar’s been “bad-mouthing” him for the better part of two years, and has done so mainly by stating that it was his appearances in Tariq’s “Hidden Colors” documentaries, that made them popular. Conversely, Umar says Tariq’s fakin’ the Black Nationalist funk with his Hidden Colors docs, cause he’s employed an all white film crew to make them. Umar also says his history as a “playa” and “mack”, speaks to his being wholly duplicitous when it comes to Black liberation struggles.

Also, adding to the melanated melee, is (Uncle) Tom Sotomayor. Tom says he knew these “Pro-Black” brothas would show their “true colors” at some point, and in an effort to document this beef, Uncle Tom held a live show on one of his several YouTube channels, discussing the finer points of the Umar vs. Tariq battle. And for over four and a half hours, he smiled while people called and commented on these two pillars of the Black “conscious” community goin’ head-to-head.

And on a side note, I have to say that there’s a particular Blog I’ve frequented for the better part of the past two years, being curated by a brotha who’s got boatloads of knowledge on the Black Spiritual Sciences and ancient Black civilizations. Now, his latest post basically talks about brothas in the “Black conscious” community calling themselves “gods”, while (according to him) the white jewish businessman has proven himself to be something more powerful than a god—and that something is an almighty “merchant”.

And, according to this brotha, not only is the white jew a master merchant, but he also owns capital and the means of production that is able to consume the Black “god”. Thus, rendering Black conscious “deities” ineffectual at best, and neutered at worst. And this ain’t the first time this brotha has alluded to the fact that white jews maintain a dominate position over us, cause they’re using the spiritual sciences that we’ve more or less given up.

Now, let me say this: even if jews didn’t practice our spiritual sciences, they’d still be in positions of power over us, at least financially, and the reason why is…

WHITE JEWS GOT HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN REPARATIONS!

According to a New York Times article, white jews were given a total of 90 “billion” dollars in reparations over the last decade—and that’s just from Germany.

So here’s what I’d ask this brotha if I ever met him: how the hell can you compare Black people to white jews, when we’ve never seem dime one of reparations?

Now, to the Black men and women reading this—let me ask y’all a question: If Black people in america, or anywhere else, were to receive 90 billion dollars worth of reparations, don’t you think we’d be in a much better place financially?

YA’ DAMN RIGHT WE WOULD!

So for the life of me, I don’t see how any sane Black person could compare us to them. But let me take that back—cause truthfully, I know exactly why this brotha’s comparing us to them.

And it has to do with what Dr. Umar Johnson, Tariq Nasheed, and this bloggin’ brotha have in common—and that’s this:

All three of these brothas are white fascist freemasons.
Mason2...
Umar2...

Now, if you’ve read this blog over the course of the last several months, you’re probably thinking, bruh—you say that about everybody. You might also be thinkin’, the better question is: are there any celebrities out there that aren’t freemasons?

                                               No.

At least not at “national” or “international” celebrity levels.

Remember, the construct of celebrity was created as a means of population control to influence the masses—that’s it. And whatever’s created by these artists, is just the medium to carry out fascist messages.

But let’s get back to talkin’ about “Hegel’s Dialectic”, or what we’ve come to know as the Hegelian Dialect (HD), as it pertains to the Umar, Tariq, and Tommy beef

Now, the old guard of Black freemasons that were in charge of keeping our people in line, namely, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, don’t have many years left to live. So their white handlers realized they’ll need replacements. And that’s the role Umar and Tariq are filling. So here’s how Umar, Tariq and Tommy fit in the infrastructure of HD’s insidious technology, using the “,problem, reaction, solution” model.

Step#1: Problem

white fascists push for an assortment of laws and initiatives designed to keep Black/indigenous americans, living under the tyrannies of their agenda(s). More specifically, Black americans are being indiscriminately killed by law enforcement, while every faction of america’s media and educational system is geared towards making us hate ourselves more than any other kind of person, cause we have the most genetic power to breed whites out of existence. And to top this off, our access to every resource we need to collectively unite is continuously blocked and/or under-minded.

Step#2: Reaction

Revolts in Black communities like the ones we saw in Los Angeles, CA.(1992) and Ferguson, MO. (2014), combined with a new “conscious” Black community, dedicate themselves to organizing against white fascist forces. Especially when it comes to exposing the abuses perpetrated on our people via law enforcement, the american educational system, and the media.

Step#3: Solution
white fascists approach Tariq and Umar with offers to make them rich freemasons—and they accept. These same white fascists insert them into the Black conscious community, and promote them as “leaders” of these groups (Sa Neter). Conversely, these same white fascists set (Uncle) Tommy up as the opposition to both Tariq and Umar. So essentially, they’re controlling the radical (Black conscious community) and conservative elements (“Uncle” Tom Sotomayor) of this oppressive equation. Moreover, like I’ve said in previous posts, white fascists know that the only way to truly win any game, is to control both teams.
Thus, Umar is beefin’ wit’ Tariq, and Uncle Tom is beefin’ wit’ both of em’.

Now, it’s painfully obvious that whitey’s got a vested interest in throwing every resource at his disposal to keep us from unifying with each other—cause that’s the only virtue that’s gonna’ help us defeat white fascism. Economic plans (i.e. money and credit) ain’t gonna’ work—cause they control the value of that. We can amass literally hundreds of billions of dollars collectively—and we already have by the way—but if fascists devalue whatever monetary resource(s) we have, we’re broke all over again. And we can’t educate our way out of this, cause whitey controls the value of that too. Meaning, if collectively half of Black americans got Phds, fascists would just create a higher level of collegiate degree that justifies keeping us out of certain positions.

*Note: If you’re a young Black man or woman reading this, I’m not saying you shouldn’t get educated or strive to make as much money as you can. Remember, contextually, I’m talking about how the Black Diaspora collectively can get out from underneath the tyrannies of white fascism. Moreover, I’m saying that if you’re in the process of getting an education, understand the game that’s being run on you and guard your subconscious mind. Cause that’s what educational institutions must target to reinforce reasons why you should hate yourself and everyone who looks like you. Now, unity is a long-term goal, but I also understand that Black people above the age of 30 ain’t thinkin’ about changing, or doing the subconscious work required to really change. So what’s needed right now, are Black Nationalist homeschooling collectives that’ll teach our children the three “r’s” without the self-hating messages we got. And those children, with a self-loving mind-set, will be the ones to get us to some kind of real unity. And this is something I’ll write about in a future post.

But even with all the resources whitey has at their disposal, they’re still destined to fail. And here’s 3 reasons why…

Reason#3: white birthrates have fallen below replacement levels for the last several decades—and they’ll continue to fall.

Now, if you’ve been reading this Blog for a hot minute, you’ve heard me say this ad nauseum (and please don’t take my word for whitey’s birthrates falling below replacement levels, go look this up yourself). But what might be different is my saying they’ll continue to fall.

And why do I say that?

Simple. Cause at the nucleus of white fascism are initiatives to keep Black men and women away from each other. And this is the real reason why they’ve mainstreamed homosexuality and the “#METOO” movements. It’s so Black men, who’ve got the most genetic power to breed them and their kind out of existence, won’t create any offspring with that same level of genetic power. And the #METOO movement, is really there to make femininity look more powerful and attractive to Black men, so we’ll choose that and give up our masculinity.

Now, you might be saying, what a sec’ bruh—white men are gonna’ be affected by these initiatives too. Yep, they certainly are—but whitey’s so hell-bent on keeping Black men and women apart, they don’t realize, those same initiatives are what’s gonna’ keep white birthrates below replacement levels—permanently.

Case in point, for decades, I’ve heard about the klansmen inspired plan of poisoning the water supply of predominately Black neighborhoods, but for several decades I’ve never seen it happen. Now, you might be like, hold up bruh—what about the Flint, Michigan “water crisis”?

Okay, let’s look at that real quick. In April of 2014, Flint, MI. stopped using it’s original water supply co., “Lake Huron” water, to save money. Within a month, complaints started coming in about Flint’s water being “undrinkable”, due to massive amounts of lead “contamination”. And the town’s water supply didn’t return to the Lake Huron co. until October of 2015.

Now, you might say, well then, that sounds like a successful campaign by white fascists to poison waters in a Black area—and yes it does seem that way. But the reason that town returned to it’s original water supplier at all, was because too many white folks in Flint were being affected by the tainted water. Mind you, the ethnic demographics of Flint are as follows: 57% black, 37% white, 4% Latino and 4% mixed race, according to the u.s. Census.

So understand, in terms of white fascist initiatives in america, what they do to us, is eventually gonna’ happen to them. And that’s the same reason they’re not gonna’ get into any kind of ethnic war with us either—cause at the end of the day, they know they’ll be too many casualties on their side. Furthermore, they know we’d be fighting with a ferocity we got from their years of abuses towards us. They also know, if we employ our “spiritual” sciences to that battle—it’ll be a wrap. Don’t believe me? Then read up on the Haitian Revolution (1791-1804) sometimes. That revolt was preceded by a Voodoo/Vudun ceremony officiated by a Voodoo “priest” named “Dutty Boukman” (look up “Boukman’s Prayer” sometimes). The Black people of Haiti were out-manned and outgunned by Napoleon’s mightiest army—and Haitians still won. And quiet as it’s kept, the same thing happened with Black people here in the states– just look up the “Gullah Wars” (1739-1858) when you get a chance.

But getting back to the “water crisis”, they now understand that whatever happens to Black people behind employing any kind of white fascist initiative, will find it’s way to them. And coincidentally, a similar “water emergency” happened in my town, but after several days, the emergency was called off—and I suspect it was for much the same reason.

And that’s why whitey’s fervor to mainstream homosexuality to Black men, is having the exact opposite effect it was intended for—meaning, as more and more white men practice homosexuality, less and less white children are being born. So essentially, whitey’s shooting themselves in the foot by promoting the gay lifestyle and “transgenderism”. Thus, Don Trump is shutting down almost every abortion clinic in america, and he’s nearly banned birth control pills.

Reason#2: whitey’s overdosing on drugs and committing suicide in droves.

The suicide rate in america has risen to a “30 year high”, according to america’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC also says that middle-age whites are the ones most affected by this epidemic. Conversely, research done by a “New York Times” journalist in an article titled: “u.s. Suicide rate surges to a 30-year high”, says suicide rates only declined for one ethnic demographic: Black men.*smiles*

And when it comes to drug use, in 2015 alone, white americans accounted for 90% of this country’s heroin and opioid overdoses. And that says what? It says that Black americans are seeing the people with the most to live for (supposedly), dying by their own hand.

And why’s this happening?

Well, to be honest, whites always consumed (and sold) 90% of illegal drugs in america. But because of their hubris, avarice, and rapacious greed, white-run pharmecutical companies were hell-bent on creating drugs that were just as addictive (if not more so) than “street drugs”. And they succeeded. Thus, we see more and more of the “superior race” imbibing and indulging in these lethal concoctions, which are killing them off.

And in more layman’s terms, it’s karma people—pure and simple.
Reason#1: “free energy”

And the number one reason white fascists will fail, especially regarding them and their Black freemasonic brethren—is free energy. Now, what exactly do I mean by that? I mean this: irregardless of how many traitorous negro leaders white fascists put into our communities, and how fake their messages are, the Black Nationalist energies most of them are forced to emit are very real.

Meaning, if Umar and/or Tariq were to hold some kind of lecture in my town tomorrow, I’d definitely go—knowing they’re frauds. Now, you might say, bruh—that don’t make sense—why would you waste good time and money seeing these freemasonic fakes?

Here’s why…

Like I said in a previous post, the great thing about energy is, it’s neither good or bad, it just is. Thus, what I’d be doing is harnessing the Black Nationalist energies these two give out. Then, I’d take that energy, and do something positive for the Black Diaspora with it. Such as curating a video, a piece of graphic art, donating some time or money to a Black Nationalist homeschooling collective, or, I’d write a Blog post—like I’m doing now.

So, I’ve said all that to say this: nothing will stop the ascension of indigenous Black people, and the precipitous fall of whites.

NOTHING.

When we see whitey not only tanning excessively, but injecting silicon in their lips and butts to look like us, and/or doing everything they can to dress, dance, talk and sing like we do. And when we see every national chain store (i.e. Wallmart, Target, Old Navy, etc.) using Hip-Hop vernacular to sell their wares—and we see white folks actively cannibalizing their communities, we know they’re “goners”.

Now, like I’ve said previously, whitey’s not gonna’ go quietly–but it’s when we see them fighting hardest (like they are now) that we know they’re in their death throes. And like I’ve also said so many times in the past: the devil’s time is up!

And it’s about time.

Umar Johnson: Pan African or Pro Black Pimp?

umar2

I have always supported Umar Johnson.  I always thought he was a dynamic speaker and spoke honestly.  I have told people many times that I met Umar back in 2011 at one of his lectures.  I agree with his ideas on being Pan- African, black unity and he’s also against interracial marriage.  So I can agree with at least 80% of what he says.  But he’s been trying to raise money for a school for black boys.  I think it’s a noble idea and it’s something black boys need.  However over the last few years there as been talk about him taking the donation money for himself.   Some say he’s not even a real doctor and that he has no credentials. And many black people in the conscious community are now saying he’s a fraud.  Many say he’s no different than the preacher pimps in the black church.  I was hoping that Umar would be different than the rest.  But no matter how much I may like a person they are not above being criticized.  There’s some things about his history that don’t seem to  add for me. But I want you to read this post that a subscriber sent me.  Check out the videos and read the article for yourself.  Then come to your own conclusion.  You be the judge. The article was written by Mukasa Afrika Ma’at and Chantell Beaty.

We are living in a new age where leaders are being made by social media. In this new age, Black leadership has degenerated from the pre-social media generation of great scholars such as Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. John G. Jackson, Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, and others. Today, someone can take an idea of a school that never becomes a school and push that idea on social media and become more well-known than someone like Dr. Anyim Palmer who founded the Marcus Garvey School in Los Angeles in 1975 or more respected among sadly uninformed masses than someone like Marva Collins who founded the Westside Preparatory School in Chicago, also in 1975. A non-educator can become more respected as an educational leader than founders of the East in New York who founded their school in 1970 with a few thousand dollars and provided a national model of Afrikan-Centered excellence that helped guide a movement. Unfortunately, we live in these strange days of social media where the Council of Independent Black Institutions (CIBI) are becoming a fading memory due in part to a lack of financial support. Many of the CIBI schools began in the living rooms, basements, and front porches of great educators with little money and a lot of heart. The schools grew across the country before declining due to lack of support. A few still exists today but are under-funded. Dr. Uhuru Hotep of Duquesne University wrote a great analysis in his dissertation entitled Dedicated to excellence: An Afrocentric Oral History of the Council of Independent Black Institutions, 1970-2000. Another excellent work is that of Dr. Kefentse K. Chike entitled From Black Power to the New Millennium. Although he focuses on Detroit’s Afrikan-Centered school movement, Dr. Chike addresses the national movement. Dr. Hotep and Dr. Chike are the great scholars you never heard of in the non-cerebral social media world. They document a great history of real and some existing schools, many of which are closing due to funding, and they have been around for decades with some of the greatest educators and institution-builders we have produced as a people. Meanwhile while this is occurring, a charlatan calling himself the “Prince of Pan-Africanism” with only an idea that he is pawning off is given hundreds of thousands of dollars without any school while he makes a mockery and often profane caricature of a movement to which he defames. Let us consider some facts and evidence about Umar Johnson.

FACTS

Fact 1. Umar Johnson has become a professional fundraiser. He had a deadline of August 21, 2014 to purchase St. Paul’s College without a clear operational plan, staff, potential students, and other necessities for a school. The projected fundraising goal was five million dollars. The goal was not achieved. What most fundraisers do is to either go to a plan B of using the funds for another projected goal, extending the deadline, or returning the money at the option of donors. Umar chose to switch projects and expand the deadline, at least this is what he told supporters. He has mentioned purchasing other properties but not with the urgency of the original project. Essentially, fundraising has become his means of income. Umar Johnson is not an employed professional or business owner. His means of income is fundraising. This is fraudulent behavior. Fundraising is not for personal income. It is for the fundraising goal. If a percentage of funds goes towards other expenses or not, there should be full transparency. Umar Johnson does not provide his supporters with full transparency. The entire project is questionable because Umar is an individual without any significant educational or organizational leadership. Perhaps if the project was sincere, he would start with a much smaller and manageable school to gain experience. However, if money is the goal, then he would begin where he is now which is fundraising and only fundraising.

Various members of the Black community have made requests and demands that Umar provide records from PayPal of his community donations and withdrawals allegedly for his school. He has also been requested to provide records accounting for the monies through his GoFundMe allegedly for the school. The community has asked that Umar cease to collect money in the name of building or opening a school until he provides adequate and reliable financial information which has to date not occurred.

Fact 2. A lack of financial transparency leads to suspicion of fraud. This is basic business knowledge which Umar’s supporters either don’t know or don’t care to know. Umar Johnson has been questioned and has not provided public financial accounts of expenditures of monies collected and monies spent. He has become angry when questioned around collections, plans, and expenditures such as what had taken place on a radio show with a female caller, “Dr.” Umar Johnson Panics When Asked to Show His Accounting, who was silenced by him and the radio host who quickly went to a break while Umar called the sister a “reactionary” for the questions about a clear plan, transparency, and accountability of funds.

Further, there is no financial plan of sustainability to run the school which he allegedly intends to open. A five million dollar school would have significant budgetary expenditures in salaries and facilities, not to mention the start-up costs alone. Depending on student population, a five million dollar school may very well need more than five million dollars annually to run. Tuition costs would be driven in part by the population of the student body. With 35 buildings at St. Paul’s College having over 700 students at one point, tuition may be expected to be approximately $5K-$10K dollars or more to cover expenditures and salaries if Umar actually opened a school. The problem with Umar is that there is no financial plan or blueprint developed for his fundraising supporters or the public?  A lack of financial transparency could mean a few different conclusions, as anyone with basic business awareness would know. 1. There was never serious intent to purchase and run a school in the first place, only to raise money and reputation build. 2. The money is being used for personal living expenses. 3. This phase of professional fundraising was not carefully thought out and maybe he thinks it’s ok to figure it out along the way which is unsound fiscally. I believe it’s a combination of these and it all adds up to fraud. Education leaders who are successful do not operate by chance or without a clear plan.

Fact 3. There is and never have been a board of trustees, consultants, or advisors. Umar Johnson does not have any experience as a school administrator or educational leader. He is a professional speaker who makes a living from speaking. He has never balanced a school budget, does not understand leadership dynamics, and with this obvious lack of experience, he would need consultants and advisors if he were serious about the project. He would further need a board of trustees which he does not have. The board would provide governance and checks and balances. A board would have a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and members with expertise in various areas. Consultants and advisors would provide guidance, questions, and insight based on years of experience and accomplishments. Why not have these important people in your corner with such a project? Unless: 1.Umar only wanted to raise funds for personal gain or 2. He wanted popularity instead of achieving a goal.

Fact 4. DISCLAIMER and APOLOGY from Mukasa Afrika Ma’at: An apology is extended to our global readers. It was previously cited as fact that Jermaine Shoemaker (aka Umar Johnson) had without doubt earned his doctoral degree from our research team’s investigation. However, that information is not factual. There is no undeniable information to date that Jermaine Shoemaker (also known as Umar Johnson) earned a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). There is evidence that an “Umar Johnson” earned this degree but evidence shows this was not Jermaine Shoemaker. The research team, led by the excellent Sister Chantell Beaty in this area, has turned up evidence that there is possibly two different people. There is verified evidence that someone named “Umar R. Abdullah-Johnson” earned a Doctor of Psychology in 2012. This individual is Arab and married, and Jermaine Shoemake is neither. To date, there is no evidence that Jermaine Shoemaker ( also known as Umar Johnson, the public speaker) earned this degree PsyD in 2012 or any other year. No degree or transcripts have been provided by him.
Umar Johnson (also known as Jermaine Shoemaker) has not provided proof to date that he is “Dr. Umar Johnson” or that he has a Doctor of Psychology. The only evidence of an Umar Johnson receiving the degree is from 2012, years after the Umar in question began calling himself “Dr. Umar Johnson”. As an important investigatory note, Jermaine Shoemaker had been calling himself “Dr.” Umar Johnson since at least 2006 which is evidenced in public records from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Also, it should be noted that PCOM removed the citation of the dissertation after this essay went public, the 2012 dissertation which Umar claims belongs to him but is not found online, anywhere as of this date. Yet still, the dissertation may be associated with another Umar. Either way, he lied to his followers up to 2012 or he never earned the degree at all. Both are fraudulent acts. If Umar Johnson is THE Dr. Umar Rashad Abdullah-Johnson who earned the degree in 20012, why did he say he had it 6 years before it was awarded? He can easily provide evidence by posting his transcripts, diploma, dissertation, and proof of ID to these documents. To date, he has not provided any of this information. This fact stands as proof of fraud by Umar.

Fact 5. Umar is not as original as he claims. He states that he is the only Black Psychologist to conduct psychological research on Black children and racism. He claims that no leaders are doing what he does! He is in essence discrediting an entire movement for his own purpose of reputation building. Umar states that he is a certified school psychologist and certified school principal, and has a private practice in Philadelphia Pennsylvania where he evaluates children for special education disability determination. He allegedly works with charter schools, public schools, superintendents, principals, special education attorneys, and advocate groups. He states this although he was “canned” from speaking at a Philadelphia high school in 2016. He’s also been canned at universities and other events. Umar states that he has written the only book ever written by a black school psychologist. This claim is fraudulent. Black psychologist have produced a body of works for decades. Some are Dr. Amos Wilson, Dr. Bobby Wright, Dr. Nai’m Akbar, Dr. Wade Nobles, Dr. Frances Cress-Welsing, and many others, none of whom have ever cited or even mentioned Umar Johnson.

umar-and-tariq

Fact 6. Umar has not proven that he is related to Frederick Douglass. Before Umar became popular throughout the country, he became well-known locally in the city of Philadelphia as a “descendant” of Frederick Douglass. This is how he began to attract audiences who I heard personally excited to “go hear a descendant of Frederick Douglass!” That would be great, except while building his reputation as a Douglass descendant, no proof was ever provided. He has provided some fictitious relationship verbally while speaking. However, like so many things with this “leader,” you must believe him and take his words without evidence and facts. However, facts are not established by words but with evidence.

Ken Morris and his mother Nettie Washington Douglass are true and established descendants of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington. Birth records, wedding certificates, family pictures, and a family tree in the Library of Congress exist that establishes their relationship to Frederick Douglass and to Booker T. Washington. The same types of records validate Tarence Bailey as a cousin of Ken Morris. Tarence is descendent from Perry Bailey, the elder brother of Frederick Douglass. No such records relate Umar to Ken and his mother Nettie, Tarence, or anyone else related to Frederick Douglass or Booker T. Washington. Ken and Nettie have co-founded the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives (FDFI) of which is supported by Tarence. Their family and supporters are advocates against modern slavery and human trafficking around the world. They are continuing the work of their great ancestor. Neither Ken Morris, Nettie Washington Douglass, Tarence Bailey, nor any other proven descendant have spoken of any relationship to Umar Johnson and he is not a member of FDFI. What has occurred is that Ken Morris issued the Official Public Statement on Umar Johnson and Tarence Bailey issued the Declaration from Elders of the Bailey Family: Disowning Umar Johnson, an Unverified Disgrace to the Family Name. The Douglass Family Initiative is an organization making a real difference in the world by real descendants of Frederick Douglass and his family. They should have your support instead of an idea for a school that doesn’t exist, pawned off by a charlatan. By the way, there was another fake descendant known as Fake Fred IV who has been more successful and prosperous at perpetrating as a Douglass descendant than Umar. For details read Role of a Lifetime.

Fact 7. There is suspicious activity around Paypal and Gofundme which indicates fraudulent activity. Paypal froze Umar’s account permanently and Gofundme closed his account down temporarily. There are only a few reasons that Paypal will freeze accounts and Gofundme would close temporarily and they all revolve around fraud protection. They protects the integrity of their service. They have accounts in much greater amounts than Umar. There is no conspiracy against him. If donors have complained about making contributions to a fraud, Paypal and Gofundme will freeze your account. Considering that so much of Umar’s reputation is highly questionable, Paypal could have had any number of fraudulent reasons to freeze his account. On the other hand, Umar also has a GoFundMe account which is different from Paypal. With GoFundMe, you are giving money to the person for whatever reason they wish. With Paypal, there are more restrictions to protect against fraud. Umar’s Paypal was frozen for all reasons that Paypal freeze accounts, suspicion of fraud or actual fraud.

Fact 8. Umar has poor character. The fact that Umar and Khym Ringgold were involved with each other is their business. They were two consenting adults. His character comes into question because he blamed her for the loss of a large donation from an un-named NBA star when the internet became active around their involvement with each other. He didn’t give the identity of this NBA star leading many to believe this was simply a diversion tactic because Khym Ringgold is a stripper. It should also be noted that he called Khym Ringgold several very disrespectful names not worth mentioning. Regardless of Khym Ringgold being a stripper, as brothers we should try to uplift our sisters instead of putting them down. His actions were not those of leadership or a man.

Umar is extremely disrespectful. When complaining about how much money was not raised, he stated, “Trifling ass Black people” didn’t give him enough and if anyone didn’t like what he said, it could be “handled outside”! Educators and leaders of our people do not speak like this about our people being “trifling” because he didn’t get enough money and taking it “outside” to fight if you don’t like what he said. On another occasion, he told a brother who disagreed with him in Texas to “knuckle up bitch”! He has had problems with paying his own child support. Mostly recently he had a video rant meltdown with a fake tough guy phone call that was a viral embarrassment. This is not how great leaders behave and talk. This is how irresponsible and insecure men conduct themselves.

Fact 9. Umar gives selective information to his donors. He was supposedly the principal of a charter school but suddenly resigned. He didn’t give the name of the school or why he resigned. Why? Khym Ringgold supposedly prevented him from receiving a large NBA donation, but he didn’t give the NBA player’s identity. Why? He states that he is related to Frederick Douglass but didn’t provide any records. Why? He states that he has a financial plan but it’s not made available. Why? He claims to have several degrees to which he can easily prove through posting the transcripts or posting the degrees, but he does not. Why? He claims to have principal and psychology certifications, but does not provide these to his followers. Why? Umar has not explained why his Paypal was frozen or his Gofundme temporarily shut down. Why? He can give documented reason from Paypal and Gofundme by posting for his followers. Why hasn’t he? Considering the pattern of selective information, the pattern of suspicion and deceit, a very reasonable conclusion can be drawn that Umar is extremely dishonest, perhaps even pathologically and chronically dishonest beyond his own control. If he is pathologically dishonest, which I deduce from all of the above evidence, he is driven by an insecurity to fulfill illusions of grandeur from his un-questioning, uncritical loyal followers willing to defend him even in the face of logic.

Fact 10. From all of the available facts above, a reasonable conclusion, the only logical conclusion that can be made is that Umar Johnson is a fraud who is deceptive or even pathologically dishonest and fueled by illusions of grandeur partially encouraged by non-critical followers. He seems to suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The fact that he is articulate and has followers is not to his advantage.  He would not defraud people of money and possibly create legal problems for himself if he didn’t have an audience.

He is a professional fundraiser who has been able to raise money based on the desire of Blacks to support an Afrikan-Centered school. The cultural school movement is important for the Black community. We need schools that teach the identity or children, the purpose of education, and the history of our people. Supporting a fraud campaign will only deter people and divert resources from meaningful causes such as CIBI or other independent Afrikan-Centered schools. With Umar being taken with any depth of seriousness will make any and all cultural movements for Blacks look comical.

CONCLUSION

Umar has been able to platform himself into the national lecture circuit with false claims around his ancestry, fake credentials, and a fundraising mission that has failed. Umar’s reputation will become a shadow in the near future. However, other fraudulent leaders, culture pimps, and religious shysters will continue to take advantage of people with good intentions willing to support a righteous cause, but desperate for leadership. We have schools and businesses that need support from our people. Such fraudulent campaigns can be disheartening to many and even turn people away from supporting needed causes. Community support is much needed. Unfortunately, insincere campaigns can become distracting and wasteful of potential and resources that could truly benefit our community.

There are any number of informative critiques on Umar Johnson by informative and insightful Black authors, scholars, and activists. I would recommend for an initial read Deborrah Cooper’s Unaswered Questions About a Five Million Dollar School forBlack Boys and Agyei Tyehimba’s Open Letter to Brother UmarJohnson Concerning Your Plans for a New Boys Academy. Also, those seeking honesty should read Inside the Conscious Stripper, Umar Johnson Scandal: Leadership Roles and the Black Man by Khym Ringgold. There are interesting video critiques but two I would recommend for initial views are:  1. The Advise Show Radio video entitled “Dr. UmarJohnson Exposed Himself as a Hotep Hustler” and another on Boyce Watkin’s YouTube channel entitled “What Happened to Dr. Umar Johnson’s School” by Maria Lloyd. To not question leadership, particularly fraudulent leadership, is ignorance and betrayal. Since originally publishing this essay, I’ve done two other works on Umar Johnson, 1. Who Taught Umar Johnson How to Pimp Culture? Hidden Color’s Tariq Nasheed and His Greatest Hustle along with 2. A Brief Note to the Black Community: Umar Johnson is Neither a Leader nor a Scholar.

I’m reminded of Pastor Creflo Dollar and Pastor Leroy Thompson on the plushy carpeted stairs of their church in expensive suits, nice shoes, Bible in hand, and shouting incoherently as they ran through waves of money given by the congregation. As a people, we must place insight before involvement, education before indoctrination, and never ever suspend critical thought and analysis. I’ll end with this saying: As long as there are fools with money, they will lose it or someone else will take it.

Clarification Needed:Genuine Conscious Brothers vs Hotep Negroes(Part 2)

The last few years I’ve been hearing this term called “Fake Hoteps”.  I’ve also heard other terms like Hotep Niggas, Ankh Negroes,Phony Conscious brothers etc.  In the above video film producer/author/pick up artist Tariq Nasheed pokes fun at the conscious community.  He goes on to say that there are black men who claim to be conscious or “woke” but really aren’t.  I can’t lie, there’s some truth to what he says.  Tariq says he didn’t make his Hidden Colors films for the conscious community. And I believe him.  Tariq has written other books on how to pick up women and get them to do what you want.  One of his books it titled The Art of Macking.  Although I wouldn’t describe Tariq has a conscious black man but he brings up valid points in this video.  He watches videos by real African scholars, collect notes then makes a film from it.  And he’s making money in the process. I’m not hating on him.  Most of the black history he had in the original Hidden Colors I already knew.  I already know 90% of everything in all his films.  So he’s not teaching me much but I think it’s good that he was able to educate some brothers and sisters.

Hotep1

Look at that pic above.  This is the type of memes I found while searching the internet. Yeah I’m sure many of you think he looks silly right? Don’t get me wrong now.  I do consider myself a conscious black man.  But I have a sense of humor and can laugh at myself.  I think many people think conscious people are super serious 24/7.  No that is not the case.  Conscious people like to laugh, tell jokes, have dinner with family and friends, make love and see a good movie.  We do everything that most other people do.  And I try to be open minded as best I can. But I still have my morals and belief system.   And if you’re a genuine conscious brother you will hold fast to your ideals. Now back to what Tariq was talking about. He says half of the conscious community is full of crap. I think he’s talking about the guys who have become well known in the conscious circuit.  Some of the names are guys like Brother Polight,Minister Enqi,Sara Suten Seti,Professor Griff,Red Pill and Blue Pill,King Noble,Iman Bashir..among others.  A lot of times they have lectures and debate against one another.  Some of them follow Kemetic knowledge, some are Moors or Hebrews.  And they debate each other on who has the best solution for black people.  It’s basically a knowledge battle.  And one of the ring leaders is a guy named Sa Neter. He’s known as the “Don King of Consciousness”.  It was entertaining to watch some of these debates at first but it quickly got old real fast!  They maybe cashing in by having these debates but what’s the end game?  Shouldn’t we be talking about nation building?  What about a black nation?  Rebuilding another Black Wallstreet?  Nope!  These guys are too busy verbally masturbating when we should be concentrating on solutions for our people.  They can’t even put aside their religious views and find common ground.

Umar Johnson used to hand out with these guys but he said he cut them off once he realized they weren’t about moving black people forward. I honestly can’t be mad at Umar for that. Tariq Nasheed also talked about fake hoteps who manipulate women to get them in bed.  Manipulation?? That’s kind of funny coming from a guy who writes about how to get women in bed himself.  But I digress.  He is correct that these some of these fake conscious guys do use women. They like to say they have “knowledge of self” but are really just saying that to sound deep. They may have read one or two books on Africa and watched Hidden Colors and now they think their scholars.  It’s also a way to impress women to get what they want from them.  To be honest there’s nothing new about men manipulating women to get them in bed.  Many men will say anything to achieve that goal.  And they come from all walks of life.  There are men who are cops, plumbers, garbage men,judges,athletes,lawyers..who all lie to women.  And all races of men do this as well. White men,Mexicans,Puerto Ricans,Asians etc.  So what is the big deal with fake hoteps doing it?  I think many women find it hurtful because these guys CLAIM to be conscious when they really are far from it. I think that’s where much of the anger is coming from. They’re claiming to be different then other guys but aren’t really conscious. Or they are what I call semi-conscious.

Hotep2

Are there other definitions of fake Hoteps? Check out the pic above.  I found it very interesting.  People who are race conscious will have varying views.  And black men who are conscious are no different.  You can’t put all conscious black men in a box.  I personally don’t condone homosexuality or lesbianism.  Anyone who follows my blog already knows this.  I find homosexuality abnormal and I believe it’s anti-life and goes against nature.  However there are some in the conscious community who disagree.  Some feel as though it’s okay as long as they don’t push the lifestyle on others.  I don’t think gay people should be killed or harmed.  But I don’t think that lifestyle is productive for African people.  And I have a right to my beliefs??    I believe the LGBTQ community wants everyone in the known universe to accept their sexual perversion.  And if you don’t it means you’re a hater or a close minded bigot.  Or their favorite…you suffer from homophobia.  That is utterly ridiculous!  I’m not afraid of homosexuals!  I think they’re more afraid of people who have a enough courage to speak their mind.  Some of us are not brainwashed by the pro-gay,anti-black media.

Then there is the belief that many black men are misogynist.   I believe there is some truth to this.  But there are black men who are conscious and unconscious that are misogynistic.  But you can’t put that ONLY on the conscious brothers.  There are mysogynistic men in all walks of life. But what is a misogynist anyway?

Misogynist: A person who dislikes, despises or strongly prejudiced against women.

Well I for one do not hate black women.  Why would I?  I was raised by a wonderful mother and I have great aunts, grandmothers and female cousins.  I have no hatred or resentment towards women. I have a right to my opinion and I can disagree with a sista.  If I disagree with a woman does that make me a misogynist?? No it does not.  There will always be disagreements in discussions.  I believe that there needs to be mutual respect on both sides.  And we’re all adults so we can agree to disagree on a matter.  But there should be no hatred or resentment because of  a difference of viewpoints.   You can call me strong willed.  Or call me opinionated but not misogynistic. I think the real problem we are dealing with is we all have a different consciousness due to living under white supremacy.  The core issue with talk about fake hoteps and fake Bohemian chicks is this. Its a battle between Knowledge of self vs wallowing in ignorance.  Many of our people love anti-blackness. We have been taught to hate to hate ourselves after 400 years plus of captivity.  And because of that we don’t like to hear about bettering ourselves, learning your history, embracing Africa, respecting women, rejecting white standards, and raising your consciousness. Many of us don’t want to do that. We rather watch stupid sitcoms that make fun of black people. Watch television shows like Power,Scandal,Blackish and Empire that promote images of blacks as thugs, drug dealers, whores, interracial daters, cut throat murderers and buffoons.  So naturally anyone who claims to be conscious or an intelligent black man or woman is seen as an enemy. Too many of our people are don’t respect black people(anti-blackness) so they don’t take your consciousness seriously.  They believe all who claim to be conscious are just phony people who want to sound deep and smarter than everyone else.   I understand we are all a work in progress.  I’ve been on this journey of learning about our people and culture for over fifteen years.  I first read books by Chancellor Williams,Carol Barnes,John Henrik Clarke,Dr Ben,Ivan Van Sertima,Marimba Ani,Frances Cress Welsing,Llaila Afrika,Amos Wilson, Runoko Rashidi,Cheikh Anta Diop,Queen Afua,Bobby Wright and Mwalimu Baruti.  I later started collecting dvd’s by Dr Sebi,Phil Valentine,Anthony Browder,Bobby Hemmitt,Leonard Jeffries,James Smalls,Jewel Pookrum and Richard King.  If you are not a familiar with these names I suggest you look them up. Many of them have videos on YouTube.  But YouTube debuted back in 2005. I was on this journey long before then.  I was studying African culture and history long before there was even a term such as fake hotep.  But it shows me that the contempt for knowledge and higher consciousness is growing.  The racist white supremacists that control Facebook,Youtube,Yahoo and Google have done a great job pushing black self hatred and black degradation.  You know it’s bad when intelligence, consciousness, honor and black self respect is looked down upon.  We have really hit an all time low as a people.

I’ll end this post in the best way possible.  This is a great video by one of the most brilliant minds I have ever come across. Amos Wilson was an author,Pan African thinker and psychologist.  There’s a reason most black people have never heard of him.  It’s because he had real solutions fro building black economy and a black nation.  He taught about black dignity and self respect.  So you can see why he’s pretty unknown in the mainstream media.  The give us these silly negroes like Cornel West,Al Sharpton,Jesse Jackson and Michael Eric Dyson.  They are just paid to mislead black people.  But Amos spoke the truth to his people.  Even if we didn’t want to hear it.  In this video he explains the power of consciousness.  And how a persons consciousness shapes the world around them.  And the consciousness of black people is seriously warped.  And if we want to move forward as a people this has to change.  I believe time is slowly running out for our people.  There will come a time when all the labels(Pro-black,feminist,conscious,man hater, educated, ignorant, woman basher) probably wont matter anymore.  The question is  will we wake up in time? Or will many of us become “conscious” when it’s too late? Peace my brothers and sistas.  And oh yeah…..Hotep!

Clarification Needed:Real Conscious Sistas vs Fake Bohemian Women(Part 1)

This is a video by Tariq Nasheed. Tariq is a film producer/author/pick up artist.  In this video he talks about the fake Bohemian chicks.   I’ve heard this  term before.   Sometimes they are called fake conscious women,Hotep Hos and wannabe deep mystical women.  Tariq even calls them Herbal Tea chicks.  Yes he likes to be funny at times.  I guess he sees himself as a comedian.  Well he believes that most of them are freaks in bed and they all smoke weed.  He says whether they are black or white women.  Most of the white women I’ve seen who dress up like Rastafarians and wear their hair in “gold locks”  are just trying to sleep with black men.  White people look so silly trying to wear braids and locks in their hair.  But that’s another subject.  One thing I hate is broad generalizations.  Most of the sistas I meet who are Afrocentric  are not freaky whores.  I don’t think that’s an accurate description at all.  I will admit that many of them do wear their hair natural, many are vegan(not all),shop at farmers markets, into holistic health and like different oils and shea butter.  But so what?  There’s nothing wrong with wanting a healthier lifestyle  and wearing natural hair.

I love this natural hair video.  It showcases some lovely sistas.  I think this whole natural hair movement is a great thing.  I think it shows that black women don’t want to conform to European standards of beauty.  And this hair revolution has really caught on in the black conscious community.  I think we need to get rid of sick terms like “good hair”.  They are self destructive terms that instill anti-blackness.  Good hair is healthy hair. And I think we as black men should see this as a good thing that more black women are embracing their natural African-textured hair.  Most of the conscious women I’ve met have been down to earth decent sistas.  Most are not judgmental or mean spirited.  Most I’ve met have been very friendly and happy to meet a brother that has knowledge of self.  I’ve had great discussions with sistas about racism, feminism, misogyny, healthy diet, unemployment and the prison system. I don’t think we should make blanket statements about people like that.  I don’t think we should be poking fun at people gaining knowledge of self. They should be given props for putting forth the effort.

Sheroes

I’ve had conscious sistas tell me they admire women like Marimba Ani,Frances Cress Welsing,Sister Souljah,Harriet Tubman,Betty Shabazz and Assata Shakur.  I think it’s a beautiful thing when black women can look up to sistas who tried to uplift our people.   I don’t think brothers should feel intimidated by the achievements of black women.   It doesn’t mean they are anti-men at all.  There’s no need to say they hate men or that they’re lesbians.   I realize that there are some black feminists that do honestly hate men.  I know because I have chatted with many of them on social media. But most sistas  I meet are not that way.  Also I think many of them have just been hurt by men in the past.  And it’s really sadness that they feel and it eventually turns into anger. Black women have a right to discuss their pain and suffering.  It’s okay for a sista to have an opinion. And we as black men should be open to hearing their voice.  The pain that many black women feel comes from the fact that many feel no one cares about them.  There are many memes on the internet that make fun of them.   By ignorant black men no less. Many calling their hair ugly and nappy.  And I’ve seen memes that poke fun at dark skinned women. I will be addressing this hatred of dark skin in an upcoming post. This is really anti-blackness at it’s core.  So I don’t think it’s funny to make fun of my conscious sistas. At least they’re putting forth the effort to learn about African culture, history and the greatness that is in our bloodline.  If anything we should be saluting these black women.  Not calling them fake Bohemian chicks.  It’s the same thing when they generalize conscious brothers as “fake hoteps” That will be addressed in part two.

Natural Hair

I just want all my conscious pro-black sistas to know that I love you.  Keep reading your African history books, eating vegan, burning incense, shopping at farmers markets, wearing headwraps and listening to Lauryn Hill  and Erykah Badu music.  Keep doing your thing!  Embrace your inner beauty as well as your outer beauty.  And know that you truly are the physical manifestation of God.  I applaud my sistas trying to better themselves and showing young black girls a better past.  Many conscious sistas were on the wrong path themselves and don’t want to see the younger generation make the same mistakes.  As we all know in African culture the mother is the first teacher. It’s really shame that we make fun of those who are trying to seek higher knowledge.  That shows how deep this anti-blackness goes.  We are  a damaged people and in need of healing.  So I leave you with this great video by Queen Afua. She speaks about the need for healing.  Which we really need right now. And no she is not some fake wannabe conscious woman.  She is the REAL deal.  Peace to all my sistas.  I love you. ❤

Racism- They keep changing the rules

This is a clip from the new film Hidden Colors 3. Tariq Nasheed gives a great break down on how the rules of racism keep changing on us. Black people have been bending over backwards to be accepted by white people.  We have done everything possible to be included into the mainstream…….but it never happens. We keep getting denied. I think it’s time to change our way of thinking a bit. The cartoon is somewhat humorous but it still drives home the point very well. I have Hidden Colors 1 and 2 and you should check them both out. I found the to be very educational. Hidden Coors 3 looks to be just as good as the others. I think when it comes to racism, many are still confused. many black people still don’t seem to know how racism operates or the real definition of it. Here are a few definitions that should make it very simple to understand.

White Supremacy — a social, economic, and political system based on the belief that whites are superior to non-whites. (the Foundation).

Racism — the systematic discrimination (the denial of rights and benefits) by whites against non-whites in all areas of human activity: (1) economics, (2) education, (3) entertainment, (4) labor, (5) law, (6) politics, (7) religion, (8) sex, and (9) war. (the Behavior).

Q: Why is it called “Racism/White Supremacy?”

A: Because this describes exactly WHO is practicing racism. For one group to practice racism that group must have MORE POWER than another group. Since whites control ALL the major areas of human activity in America — housing, education, health, entertainment, economics, politics, law, and religion — it is accurate to define all “racism” as “white supremacy.” We must be accurate so the victims of racism do not become confused.

Q: Isn’t all racism the same, regardless of who is practicing it?

A: There is only ONE kind of racism: white supremacy. White people are the only group in America with the POWER to discriminate (deprive or punish other ethnic groups), and the systems and institutions to maintain the imbalance of power.

For example, rich people are more powerful than poor people. Rich people have the POWER to discriminate against poor people by depriving them of income, promotions, jobs, housing, land, justice, and any other rights – if they choose to do so.

In America, whites have the POWER to discriminate against blacks (and other non-whites) by depriving them of income, promotions, jobs, housing, land, justice, and any other rights – if they choose to do so. It doesn’t matter that some whites are poorer than some blacks.

In all things and in all places in America, whites are collectively more powerful than blacks are collectively. This imbalance of (white) power creates the opportunity and the ability to practice racism against non-whites. Racism is not empty rhetoric (words) or mindless emotion. Racism is economic, political, institutional, and systematic POWER. Since whites control all the institutions and systems of power in America, only whites have the power to practice racism.

I got this excerpt from Trojan Pam’s website:http://racismws.com/. Be sure to go check out her blog and buy all of her books. Her books will help you be les confused about the system of racism.
