10 Signs to look for in Black Consciousness

Awake9....

Over the years I’ve seen black people who were full of self hatred make a big change.  Some gain black consciousness through books or films.  But one thing  I’ve noticed is that black people who really change their consciousness is that their lifestyle changes as well.  As well as their opinions and world view.  Here’s a short list of some of the things I went through during the elevation of my own consciousness.  And things I’ve seen in others.  Feel free to list any things that come to your mind in the comment section.

Awake1.....jpg

1.Many begin to have a stronger cultural pride. They may even change the way they dress or learn an African dialect.   They start to talk about black power and black unity a lot more.

Awake2.....jpg

2. Many times their eating habits will change.  As they gather more information on a holistic health they will stop eating at fast food restaurants and eat more fruits and vegetables. They eat organic food over GMO poison.

Awake13...

3.They will start to develop a thirst for knowledge.  They will want to learn as much as possible about black history, black heroes and all the great African civilizations.  Knowledge of self becomes very important.

Awake5....

4.  After learning their true history they may become upset from the lies they were told by the “public fool system”.  They realize(real eyes) they have been manipulated. After doing extensive research they have become “awaken” and can see through the lies and propaganda from the racist media and Hollywood.

Awake11...

5.  After much studying they learn to appreciate the beauty and power of their melanin.  They realized they are blessed to have sun-kissed skin and black genetics run through their veins.

Awake8....

6.They no longer hate their natural African textured hair.  They now know their hair acts as an antenna.  They know they have 9 Ether cosmic hair while other races have fur.

Awake4.....

7.  Interracial marriage(swirling) begins to look strange to their eyes.  After realizing black power and unity are crucial….interracial couples look foreign to them.  They see that many of their people suffer from mentacide and don’t realize they are destroying themselves by mating with other races.

Awake7....

8.  As their consciousness grows so does their maturity level.  They stop acting like little boys and girls and act like responsible men and women.  They desire to have meaningful loving connections with black people. No more one night stands and casual flings. Whores(male or female) are not truly conscious beings.

Awake10...

9.  They begin to study herbal medicine.  They realize that hospitals aren’t in the business of curing people.  They now know that herbal immunity is better than deadly vaccines. And that hospitals are disease management.

Awake6....

10.  They know that Black Love, black unity and self respect is of utmost importance. They also realize that black people are the true standard of beauty and we are the original people of the planet.  And the black man and woman need each other in this physical, spiritual and psychological war!

Liberating the minds of Black Children-Bobby E. Wright

Black image....

We must be about the business of liberating the minds of Black
children. In order for that to occur, the minds of all Blacks who
interact with them must also be liberated. There is no other way.
It is relatively easy to educate Black children, even about their
Africanity. But, it is extremely difficult to reinforce the
education. Therefore, even sitting in the same classroom, white
children will be ‘educated’ and Black children will be ‘trained.’
The white child will be taught how to rule and the Black child
trained to be ruled. ‘Training’ is defined as teaching a group what
to think rather than how to think, making them dependent rather than
assisting in developing skills which could be used for independent
activity, rewarding behavior that operates against their group’s
interest, promoting individual rather than group achievement, and
instilling negative self-concepts and low self-esteem. The opposite
of the above mentacidal process (training) is education in which the
learning process becomes a liberating force.
Black independent schools are important not only for how they
teach but for what is taught. Their purpose of instilling within
Black children an ‘Afrikan Worldview’ is the most important activity
those children will ever experience. Black parents whose children
are not in independent schools should at a minimum expose them to a
well-structured supplemental Black educational program. Some of the
most dangerous Blacks in the world are many of those brothers and
sisters who finished graduate school ‘with honors’ and yet operate
against the interest of Blacks because of their eurocentric
orientation. The writer does not mean to imply that Blacks should
not attempt to achieve high levels of ‘training’ in white
institutions, but should be aware that it is not ‘education’ they
are receiving.”

Child Molestation,Rape,Incest- No more Silent Condemnation!

This is a great video by Dr Rick Wallace.  He brings up the issue of silent condemnation when it comes to child molestation.  This is an issue a lot of black people don’t want to deal with.  Many people want to sweep it under the rug.  There are too many black girls and boys molested in the black community  and no one talks about it.  No one wants to talk about the rape and incest that goes on.  Many children grow up to be adults and never deal with the abuse. We also have to stop supporting entertainers like R&B singer R. Kelly and even hip hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa.  The black devils have to go!We can’t give our support to people that harm our children.  What type of message does it send when we support this type of behavior?  We got to do better family.  For the sake of our children.

All Sistas hate Black men..and other lies

They tell me it’s Black History month.  Shortest month of the year of course.  But it’s Black history month every month on this blog.  So before the month is out I thought I’d end the month on a high note. They say that most black women hated black men nowadays.  Don’t the young black women today despise black men? Not judging by this video.  This video doesn’t even have 1,000 views.  Not very surprising though.  The media wants us to believe that ALL black hate black men with a passion.  The racist media does all it can to keep us divided and hating each other.  If this video was about bashing black men it would have thousands of views in a matter of days.  And anti-black women videos are also overrepresented as well.  These videos help to destroy black consciousness, black love and unity. I know many black men that love black women and vice versa.

black-love

I know the Uncle Toms, bed wenches, self haters and swirlers will hate this video.lol  They hate black love. This video destroys their perception of the world. But don’t fall for the propaganda. These are the videos that don’t go viral.  And with good reason.  They don’t want us to love and respect each other.  Black love is a threat to white supremacy. But I applaud these black women in the video. It’s always good to have words of encouragement.  I want the sistas to know that we love and appreciate you too. Much respect and Kushite approved!

George Lopez: Don’t marry somebody Black!

george-lopez2

It seems that comedian George Lopez has caused quite an uproar recently. Earlier this week he was doing a comedy show in Phoenix,Arizona and offended a woman in the audience.  The controversy started when Lopez was telling a joke.  During the routine Lopez said :

“There are only two rules in a Latino family. Don’t marry somebody black and don’t park in front of our house.”

Apparently there was a biracial woman in the audience that got upset.  From what I hear she was black/Mexican.  And gave Lopez the middle finger.  Then Lopez began to insult her using profanity. Lopez told her:

Sit your f—king a— down! Sit your f—king a— down! I’m talking b—h,” said Lopez, while the audience cheered. “You paid to see a show, sit you’re a– down. You can’t take a joke, then you’re in the wrong motherf—king place. Sit your a— down or get the f—k out of here.”

Why is this shocking to black people?  Don’t we already know many Hispanics don’t like black people?  This goes for many Mexicans,Cubans,Dominicans and Puerto Ricans.  Yeah I know there are blacks in many Latin countries.  But you know who I’m talking about. I’m talking about those European latinos.  These people worship whiteness. They will work with you in the workplace but most don’t like their children marrying black people.  Most of them have a strong anti-black sentiment.  That’s why the mostly Hispanic audience laughed at the joke.  Lopez didn’t say don’t marry a white person.  Why not??  It’s because most the Mexican audience love white people. If you look at Mexicans they look closer to white than black for sure.  But see I have a different take on it.  I’m not upset at him because he only told the truth.  None of these Hispanic groups want their sons or daughters marrying black people. I think most of them hate our dark skin and African(nappy) textured hair.  They see blacks as inferior and don’t want to mix with us.  Some Mexicans even disown their sons and daughters for marrying blacks.  It’s only you brain dead negroes who hate yourself that are offended.  Why do we want to be accepted by those that hate us? Why can’t we love ourselves?  I’m not offended because I already knew this.  I knew black guys in high school that dated Mexican girls.  Some of the guys told me they weren’t allowed in their girlfriend’s house.  Either the Mexican father didn’t approve or the mother.  Sometimes it was both.  Black people need some self love and black pride.  Then you wouldn’t be offended by the jokes from some ugly pizza-faced washed up comedian.  I don’t want mixed babies so I don’t gave a damn if he wants me in his family.  I remember when he had his talk show a few years ago.  He did a DNA test and found out he was 55 % European,41% Native American and 4% African.  I don’t trust most of those DNA tests anyway.  But even if it’s true it shows he is more European than anything else.  So maybe that’s why many of these so-called Latinos hate black people.  They are mostly European so what would you expect?  Being white and anti-black goes hand in hand. I keep trying to tell black people that these “people of color” are extremely anti-black.  Everyone that has some melanin is not your friend.  Don’t be fooled because someone has brown skin.  This goes for Hispanics and brown-skinned Indians as well.. As a side note,I actually met Lopez about fifteen years ago at a mall.  He was there promoting a radio show he used to host.  He really is an ugly looking mestizo in person.

george-lopez

Look at this pic(above) of Lopez.  Dressing in drag???  Not only does he have a problem with black people but I guess he’s an undercover homosexual as well.  These latinos are funny to me.  Lopez says he hates Donald Trump because Trump is a racist towards Mexicans.  Yet Lopez has the same racist attitude towards blacks. Blacks haven’t done anything to Mexicans.  We never had a war with them.  We never had them as slaves or colonized their land.  So why do they hate us?  Why do all these racial groups hate on black people? Sounds kind of hypocritical to me.  Maybe it’s just racial pride.   Some people want to preserve their race and culture.  I can respect that since I’m the same way. I love being black and I love my African culture. I don’t want to mix with them anyway. But I just don’t like the fact that all these races use black people as a punching bag.  Everyone likes to shit on us!  And I’m really getting tired of it.  Trump wants to build a wall to keep the Mexicans out.  I used to be against this idea.  Now it’s starting to sound like a good idea.  The only problem I have with the wall is I keep asking myself…is it to keep the Mexicans out?  Or to keep us in?  Anyway let me know your thoughts on Lopez. Was he right?  Were you offended?  Or was racism expressed by Hispanics something you already knew?

Rachel Joy Williams

Rachel Joy Williams is a beautiful black model.  She is from Britain from of Jamaican/Caribbean descent. She was crowned Miss Black Britain in 2006 and went on to compete in the Miss England pageant. Here’s a short interview she did:

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Why modelling and when did you first begin modeling?

Rachael: I never actually wanted to be a model. It was my cousin who entered me into the beauty pageant.

At that point in my life I had very low self-esteem and [lacked] confidence (due to being bullied in school); I was so shocked I won but to my family, this was just the beginning.

you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and what would say to them?
Rachael: I would love to meet Cleopatra and ask her if she really did bathe in milk and honey daily!

How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?
Rachael: It really depends on the shoot. But I’ll always wash and prep my hair, fully wax, eat clean a few days before just so I’m not bloated and to prevent any spots from appearing on my face.

Has your current experience as a model of color been mostly positive or negative?

Overall my main experience as a model has been positive, I’m my own boss, I decide on all the work I do, I get to travel nearly every month, all the jobs are different, I’m always meeting new people, there is no routine and sometimes, I get to keep the clothes!

On occasions I do experience negativity from clients, agencies and the even general public in regards to my weight, my complexion, my attitude, my style e.t.c but I don’t let any of that bother me as I know where I am going and I do not need to entertain that along the way.

Have you found that there has been an increase of other models of color since you started, or does the modeling industry still have a long way to go in recruiting models of color?

When I started out, what attracted me to the industry was that there was quite a few models of color that actually working within the industry despite all the negativity surrounding it.
