Las Vegas shooting last night: Worst ever?

Terrorist Attack...

There was a mass shooting last night in Las Vegas. The media says that a crazed madman went on a shooting spree at a country music concert.  The horrific incident happened near the Mandalay Bay casino. Reports are saying that there are 59 dead and over 500 people injured.  They say the shooter was a 64 year old white man.  And he was found later dead in his hotel room.  Police officials say he had at least twenty rifles and rounds of ammunition in his room.  Some say this is the worst massacre in US history.  Hmmmm….I beg to differ.  Of course we here at Kushite Kingdom know better than to fall for this propaganda.  The picture(above) shows that this Vegas shooting is NOT the worse. But those were black victims of racist whites.  So I guess their deaths don’t count.

Shootings..

Vegas shooting2...

So while I do feel bad for any innocent people that were killed or hurt in Vegas….we must keep things in perspective.  There have been thousands of black people murdered in this country.  And most of it all the whites that killed them NEVER paid the price. Black lives don’t matter in Amerikkka.  That’s why most of these massacres are unknown to the public.  Then when a shooting like this happens or something like 9-11,then they want to say “this is the worst massacre ever”.  I assume they must mean shooting of white people.  But don’t let the media fool you.  This mass shooting is not the worst ever.

Resurrecting Black Wall Street- Must see DVD!

Black1

I just recently heard about this dvd. I think all black people need to see this film. I think black children need to see it too. They need to know about the accomplishments that we made in the past. African Americans currently battle shockingly high rates of unemployment and incarceration, in addition to a wealth gap that defies belief.  Much of this gap is not due to financial mismanagement, but because of the systematic theft of black wealth that has occurred in this country over the last 400 years.

One of the most egregious human rights violations of the last century occurred during the Black Wall Street Massacre in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921.  During this time, the most affluent black community in America was burned to the ground and stripped of its wealth as thousands were killed, jailed, hospitalized and displaced by angry racist mobs.   Over 1,200 residences were destroyed during the riot, and there was no compensation to the victims of this horrendous tragedy.

Black2

Even worse, the story of Black Wall Street has been kept out of history books and rarely discussed publicly, even in the state of Oklahoma, where the tragedy took place.  If you’ll recall, Oklahoma is also the state where members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity were recently recorded singing a song about hanging black people from trees.  These racist attitudes result from the consistent hiding and denial of honest and accurate black history in America.

“Resurrecting Black Wall Street” not only tells the story of what happened, but discusses the aftermath.  We discuss the fight for reparations that was never answered by the Oklahoma legislature.  The film also discusses ways that the black community can learn from those who had the vision to create a kingdom of cooperative economics unlike anything seen before or since that tragic period in 1921.

The film features several expert commentators, including Finance PhD Dr Boyce Watkins, Dominique Reese,  Michael Imhotep of the African History Network, and many more.  You MUST share this story with your children and we must learn from this tragedy in order to build a better tomorrow.
