I’m Pro-Black but….I date non-blacks??

Black Prince and....What..

Don’t laugh at that picture above.  This so-called proud African man actually married that creature.  I know it’s hard to believe. This is a subject that shouldn’t even  have to be addressed.  But it seems to be a bit of a problem in the conscious community.  It would seem that if a person is pro-black and race conscious that they would want to marry a black person.  So it would seem. But we have these people some refer to as Fake Hoteps, that are making the truly conscious look bad.  I have even seen it with black conscious black women too.  They have on their African clothing, wearing braids or dreadlocks….and holding the hand of a white man!  This is absolutely insane in my mind!

Pro Black but1...

I even had some fool that told me this is not a contradiction.  This is a major contradiction.  If you love your African culture, love your heritage…it would be natural to want to be with a black person.  You would want to pro create with a black person.  Why would you want to dilute your bloodline with another race?  It makes no sense.  If you love yourself and how you look..why would you want children that don’t look like you? This is not about hating another race either.  This is about self love and loving your own people.

This is a good video(above) by Pharaoh Allah. He speaks about all the pitfalls to dating white people.  While he is a bit animated at times I agree with his overall point.  And why it doesn’t help the black community in the long run.  Many of these fake dudes talk about black power but it’s all just an act. If you’re going to talk about it  then  you need to BE about it!  I’m tired of all these contradictions in our community.  And this also goes for people using the excuse of  “people of color” so they can marry Hispanics and Asians.  I’m well aware of this ongoing trend.

mixed-family

This picture(above) looks ridiculous!  What is this white man doing in African clothing?  He looks like a damn fool!  But this is the type of silliness and confusion that happens when we date/marry other races. It doesn’t matter if the person is Mexican,Chinese,Filipino,Cuban or Japanese.  If they are NOT a black person and you claim to be pro-black…you are full of crap!  You’re a walking contradiction.  And you make the rest of us(real conscious) look bad.  And we get lumped in the same group of disingenuous conscious people.  And I’m sick of it.  If you want to date/marry other races then just do it.   Go make some mixed babies and go on with your life.  But no more of this stupid ass fence riding. And please  stop saying you’re conscious, pro black or a Pan Africanist….because it’s obvious you are not.  Peace.

Was Fidel Castro a friend to Africans?

fidel

The Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro passed away on Friday 25th November. I am not going to provide an account of the Cuban Revolution, rather I just wanted to pay a brief, but heartfelt tribute to Castro, without deifying him or pretending that he was perfect, which is a common tendency when people write about people they admire. Why do I admire Castro? Is it because I am a Communist or Marxist revolutionary? No, certainly not. I admire him because he was one of the few true friends, in terms of significant political leaders, that Afrika has had during the 20th century. Whilst some of the Afrikan leaders of the ‘frontline states’, during the apartheid era in South Africa,  either sat passively by or in some cases, actively co-operated with the apartheid regime, such as the arrogant neo-colonial lackey Dr Hastings Banda who “… was careful never to appear radical in front of the former colonial masters and pleased the British government by maintaining trade and contact with South Africa, condemning his fellow African leaders more than he did apartheid.”  http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/obituary-dr-hastings-banda-1296534.html  Fidel Castro put Cuban forces into battle against colonial regimes in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Angola. Much Cuban blood was shed on the battlefields of Southern Africa in aid of Afrikan liberation.
A great example is the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale. “The battle of Cuito Cuanavale and the Cuban intervention in Angola is one of the turning points in Southern African History. It led to the movement of powerful Cuban armed force, into the west, towards the Namibian border. The fighting in the south western part of Angola led to the withdrawal of the South African, ANC and Cuban presence in Angola, and to the Independence of Namibia.”  http://www.sahistory.org.za/topic/battle-cuito-cuanavale-1988 This battle was hugely significant in that it not only led to the withdrawal of South African troops from Angola and independence of Namibia, but it also destoyed the aura of invincibility surrounding the South African Defence Force (SADF), and was a  significant contributory factor in the release of Nelson Mandela and end of apartheid in South Africa.

You have to put this all into context by remembering that the white world vacillated between overt and covert support for the apartheid regime, as perhaps best exemplified by UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher referring to the Afrikaners as “our kith and kin” during a state visit to the UK by the then South African leader, the despicable war criminal, PW Botha. In global terms Cuba is a small island nation with a small population and which has been under economic and political attack by the United State ever since the revolution in 1959. Over the years there were more than a dozen documented assassination attempts against Castro by various US governments and yet despite living in the shadow of a hugely powerful; hostile neighbour, Castro had the vision and commitment to reach out to African people in Afrika, the Caribbean and other parts of the world and lend direct practical military, economic and medical aid. Just take the example of the massive earthquakes in Haiti where Cuba sent teams of doctors and the US sent in hordes of soldiers. That is a direct legacy of Fidel Castro and also illuminates the Euro-American mindset of always coming to conquer. Cuba even offered to send in medical teams in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina whilst the US government once again sent in teams of soldiers to face down a non-existent threat from the stranded, mostly Afrikan residents of New Orleans. Over the years Cuba has run a program giving free medical training to African-Americans.

fidel-castro

Castro should also be remembered for his strenuous attempts to wipe out racism in Cuba. I should be clear that he did not succeed in this, but it was not for the want of trying. Racism is still alive and kicking in Cuba as you can see by the behavior and attitudes of many of the European Cubans who migrate to the US from the island. Since, as I have mentioned many times before, racism is a normative part of European culture, all Castro could do was to suppress overt manifestations of racism in Cuba, but he could never kill its cultural root. I recall an Afrikan woman telling me of her holiday to Cuba, which took place in the last 10 years, and how she was constantly asked for her ID on the private beach associated with the hotel she was staying in and how it was regularly insinuated that she was a prostitute. You also have all of the skin color and shade issues in Cuba as is found in places such as Jamaica, UK, US etc. as well as the same European beauty ideal.

castro1

Human Rights – We have to speak about human rights because this will be the biggest criticism made of Castro.  Did the Castro government suppress people’s human rights? To my mind the answer is obviously yes, however I think again we have to look at this in context. What do you think is going to happen when you lead a  tiny nation with the most powerful nation on Earth as a very hostile near neighbor which is  making every attempt to not only overthrow your government but also to directly kill you? It would be naive to think that you can have an open society under such abnormal conditions. Just take the failed ‘Bay of Pigs’ invasion in 1961 as an example of US hostility  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-13066561  No one knows for sure how Cuba would have developed if it was not faced with the ongoing US economic embargo designed to impoverish the Cuban people and destabilise the Cuban government.

The Future – With the transition of leadership to Fidel Castro’s brother Raul in 2008, the lifting of the US economic embargo and the flow of US money into Cuba which will become a tidal wave, the future for Cuba is likely to be Back to the Future. Prior to the revolution Cuba was a playground for the rich and famous from the US, a place where the Mafia could launder money and  centre for gambling, drugs and prostitution. I predict that in 5-10 years Cuba will be transformed. There will be huge infrastructure investment in the key tourist areas with hotels, casinos, theme parks etc popping up and a massive spike in property prices in these areas. Cuba will become one of the top holiday destinations for US citizens and will become a hotspot for sex tourism. Some Cubans are going to make  significant amounts of money, whilst the US transnational corporations are going to make a killing. Cuba will become yet another neo-colonial island in the sun.

Black Love Denied: Black Men & Latinas…a better match?(Part 2 of 3)

Rosewood

There’s another trend going on.  The attack on black love is very real. I told you what they’re doing to black women in part one. Now I’ll show what they’re trying to do with brothers. This picture(above) is from the Fox drama Rosewood. It premiered back in September 2015.  It stars Morris Chestnut in his first leading role on television. He plays a doctor on the show and he is paired with Puerto Rican actress Jaina Lee Ortiz.  She plays a Miami detective. There is a beautiful black actress in the show as well played by Gabrielle Dennis. But she plays the sister to Chestnut’s character.  She also plays a lesbian with a white girlfriend no less.  Black people playing homosexuals and lesbians is something I’ve covered many times in the past. That’s a whole different subject. But this post is about a trend I’ve noticed a lot in the last twenty  years or so. I have seen a steady increase of latina actresses playing the romantic interest to black men in countless films and television shows. Although in Rosewood, Morris and Jaina have not officially “hooked up” they flirt with each other in nearly every episode.  It is only a matter of time before they eventually get together.

Rosewood7

The first time I can remember seeing this was in the film Money Train.  This was way back in 1995.  It starred Wesley Snipes and Jennifer Lopez.  I remember this because I believe it was the first love scene Lopez ever did.

Rosewood2

Then I remember seeing Cuban actress Eva Mendes with Denzel Washington in Training Day(2002).  She also played his ex-wife in the film Out of Time.  And she also played Will Smith girlfriend in the film Hitch(2005).

Rosewood4

In that silly ass comedy Boat Trip(2002),Roselyn Sanchez played the love interest for Cuba Gooding Jr.  They had absolutely no chemistry together and the film wasn’t even funny. But I think this is a disturbing trend.  I know some people will say that it’s no big deal sense these are “women of color”.  But this is nonsense to me.  It doesn’t matter if many Puerto Ricans have 15%-20% African ancestry.  The fact remains that most of them have  over 60% European ancestry.  They are mostly white.  Theses are the facts!  They may speak Spanish or Portuguese but they are not African women.  We need more roles showing black love across the board.  These Latinas are being used to promote race mixing as a better alternative to black love.   It’s also a way to show that Latinas are better for black men.  All this “love has no color” crap sounds silly to me!  Hollywood is terrified of black men and women loving one another and creating beautiful black babies. They seem to promote anything that can further divide black me and women. I get the feeling that black people loving each other is their biggest fear.

Tyrese

In the film Four Brothers(2005)singer/actor Tyrese was the love interest for Colombian actress Sofia Vergara. I remember thinking they were such an odd pairing when I saw this film.  They film was okay as far as action films go.  But in the film Tyrese was adopted by an old white woman.  And he had three adoptive brothers.  Two of them were white guys. One of them played by Mark Wahlberg.  It was really silly.  You know how Hollywood likes to show blacks who were raised by whites as “decent negroes”.  It was truly a waste of film. I wish I could get my money back.

Odette

South Beach(2006) was a television drama starring Odette Annable and the late Lee Thompson Young. Annable has a Cuban mother and her father is French/Italian. So that would make her…….white right?

The Event

In 2010 there was the television show The Event. It starred Blair Underwood as the President of the United States.  The First Lady was played by Puerto Rican actress Lisa Vidal. In the show Underwood’s character’s name was Elias Martinez. He was an Afro-Latin man so I guess that’s why his wife was a Latina right?  But why not a more black looking Afro-Latina then? I think you know the answer.

Also in 2010 there was the film Our Family Wedding.  It’s about a black man(Lance Gross) marrying a Hispanic woman.  The woman is Honduran actress America Ferrera.  It’s a comedy about the blending of different races and cultures.  This video clip is my favorite scene in the film.  It shows the Hispanic grandmother fainting when she sees her grand daughter’s black fiancée.  It’s kind of funny but also very realistic. Mainly because this is how many of these old(and young) Hispanic family members truly feel when their daughter/niece/grand daughter is marrying a black man. It’s done in a comical way but underneath is the truth of their anti-blackness. Which runs throughout Hispanic/Latin culture.

BL1

Do you recognize this man? That’s John David Washington. The son of legendary actor Denzel Washington.  Not sure if many people know that he’s acting on the comedy television series Ballers(2015). He plays a  professional football player character named Ricky Jerret.  In the series his fiancée  is Cuban actress Anabelle Acosta. In his first starring role you would think he would be cast with a black woman.  But then again Denzel was paired with Cuban actress Eva Mendes in Training Day. Like father, like son right?

Zulay

This is a picture from the upcoming comedy Meet The Blacks.  It stars comedian Mike Epps and his wife is played by Colombian actress Zulay Henao.  Once again the black woman is left out.  The black woman in the pic is his daughter.  The title of the film is supposed to be a play on words.  But it’s insulting because they’re called The Blacks…but the wife isn’t black!! How ridiculous is that??

Rosewood5

This is Forest Whitaker with Mexican actress Eva Longoria.  They played husband and wife in the film A Dark Truth. It always cracks me up when I see Mexicans and blacks playing lovers in films.  Mexican culture  has a strong anti-black sentiment.  I’ve had Mexican co-workers over the years.  They treat me with respect and don’t give me a hard time.  They’re cool with you in the workplace but they keep a social distance. Dating them is an entirely different story.  I know for a fact that most Mexican men hate seeing their women with black men. They find it very disgusting and think they are better than black men anyway. I even know some that wont even date a Mexican woman if she’s dated black men. That sounds like extreme hatred to me.  That sounds like the mentality of a racist white redneck.  I’m telling you that most Hispanics/Latinos as a whole don’t like black/African people. Most of them that come from Cuba,Brazil,Mexico,Puerto Rico,Colombia…are raised on white supremacy.  They believe that light skin, light colored eyes and straight hair is the beauty ideal. So naturally they will hate black people. Many Latin countries even have a term called “blanqueamiento”.  It’s a term many have never heard. Blanqueamiento, or whitening, is a social, political, and economic practice used in many post-colonial countries to `improve the race` (mejorar la raza) towards a supposed ideal of whiteness. The term blanqueamiento is rooted in Latin America and is used more or less synonymous with racial whitening.  So you can see  where their hatred of dark skin comes from.  I know black men who have dated some of these light skinned Latinas and their families usually don’t accept the black man.  Since they believe “whitening” the race is better, why would they want to darken their race?  They have to think of their children right?

Jessica1Suelyn

Also just as a side note, many of these Latinas are in these booty model magazines. Don’t get me wrong these magazines are very degrading to women.  I used to read them as a young man myself.  But I matured and grew out of them.  They have these women in very degrading poses, all oiled up with, rubbing their G spot with a come hither look in their eyes. Degrading as they may be, these are still magazines catered towards  black men.  So why are Latinas on the cover?  Why do they have “Latina lovers ” editions?  I don’t see black women plastered on the cover of magazines for Hispanic men. This is really pathetic.  Black women even take a backseat behind Latinas in magazines geared toward black men. And the black men who are the publishers of these magazines should be ashamed of themselves. These clowns are hyping up other races over black women. Shameful!

Rosewood6

This is  actress Jessica Alba and Mehki Phifer.  This is from the 2003 film Honey.  In the film he flirted with her until he won her over. In the film actress/model Joy Bryant plays Alba’s best friend. Joy is a gorgeous black woman..but of course they have Mehki’s character hook up with Alba. Not to mention that Joy is much prettier than Alba by a mile.

Here’s a video from the George Lopez show. This was back in 2010. Lopez did a DNA test on Alba.  Her mother is a blonde white woman and her father is a Mexican.  The results were not surprising to me. Alba found out she was 87% European. And she seems pretty disappointed about it.  I can understand her frustration a bit.  She sees herself as a “woman of color” so this was a wake up call for her.  I know many people see her as somewhat exotic with dark hair and full lips.  I actually saw her in person in 2014 at a social event.  She walked right by me. She may not have blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin but at the end of the day….she’s a white woman. In the film Honey the stylist had her hair permed to give it some curl. This was an attempt to make her appear a  bit more “ethnic” because she obviously doesn’t look black. I find this interesting because  I remember reading years ago that Honey was a role written for the late r&b singer/actress Aaliyah.  When she died tragically in a plane crash in 2001…they gave the role to Jessica.   So this proves my point that this role and many others should go to black women.  But Hollywood wants to erase the image of the black woman.  They want to keep the dark skinned African looking woman away from her rightful place….with the black man.   But keeping black men and women separated is what Hollywood does best.    Even when a black woman has a starring role she is linked with a either a white partner or lover.  I have seen this in shows like Scandal,Sleepy Hollow and Minority Report. This is a way to kill two birds with one stone. By putting Latinas in these roles they are saying that they are a better match for black men. Which of course is a boldface lie.  And secondly it promotes race mixing and making pretty little “exotic babies”.  Which is brainwashing us into believing that looking less black is better.  This is another reason we need our own television studios  and production companies. That way we can promote black love and show that strong black relationships are what’s really important.  Yes I know there are dark skinned Hispanics from Brazil,Cuba,Mexico,Puerto Rico and Colombia.  I have met some really beautiful Afro-Latina sistas. I’m not speaking about Latinas that are clearly of African descent.  If they have a African textured hair, black features and have a dark brown complexion they are obviously black women.  I’m talking about these straight haired, light skinned women with obvious European features.  If you look at it from a genetic standpoint they are mostly European. I know people don’t want to admit this but it’s the truth.  Like I said before,it doesn’t matter what language you speak.  What matters in this world is race, heritage and culture. And although culture is very important,in a system of white supremacy race is the MOST important.  So don’t be fooled by these white looking Latinas in films with black men. This is not progress for black people at all.  These are interracial relationships.  You have to call it what it is. Some might have a little Africa in their bloodline but they are still NOT black.  And any black men saying it’s okay because they are “women of color” is just saying that because they want to date non-black women.  I’m very hip to that term so don’t even try it. Hollywood is doing this on purpose to make us view Latinas as more acceptable because they are not “too white” but yet “not black” either.  Doesn’t matter to me.  It all comes down  to promoting race mixing and dividing black men and women further apart. This is what their whole agenda is about. And one more thing, these Latinas get their hips, thighs and nice butt from the African woman.  That’s why many Cuban,Colombian and Puerto Rican woman have nice shapes.  Yet they want to erase the image of the black woman??  This is very insulting!! Give the original woman her props!  Why go for a cheap imitation of the black woman? When you can have the real thing.

Part 3 coming next! The wrap up!

Hatred for Dark Skinned Women(Darker the Berry)

Melanin3

The image of the black woman is under serious attack. It has always been that way for African people. Under the system of white supremacy all things black and African looking must be degraded and made to look “less than”. It has been this way for us since we have been in contact with Europeans. The image of black men is horrible as well. Black men are seen as lazy, pimps, drug dealers and dead beat dads. And the media helps to perpetuate these negative images. For black women in many ways it’s worse. Of course all things are usually worse for women in a male dominated society. But for women their value usually is assigned to their beauty. Of course this is no fault of their own.  But I don’t believe that the true worth of a woman is her physical attributes.  There are many other qualities that give a woman her worth other than a pretty face or nice body.  In this white dominated culture white women are seen as the prettiest. If a white woman has blonde hair and blue eyes she is seen as the romantic(Roman=European) ideal.

BW1

There is  extreme color stratification in America and abroad.  Since white supremacy is global, many other races are brainwashed into believing that anyone with light skin is better than anyone dark skin. This is why many Hispanics and Asians worship light skin people in their race. Skin bleaching is very popular in places Asian and Latin countries. The bleaching cream is flying off the shelves. Everyone is in a quest to get as light as they can be.

Bleach

Which is why this woman(above pic) would do this to herself. She was already a beautiful women before. Why destroy such beautiful melanin-rich skin?  It’s because we live in a world that devalues dark skin and especially dark skinned women. There are many beautiful dark skinned women I’ve met throughout my life. But in the media their beauty is not recognized by this racist society.  Hollywood would rather uplift the beauty of light skinned Hispanics or Asian women over black women. Many dark skinned women feel as though they are not properly represented… and they’re  right.  The African woman was the standard of beauty for thousands of years.  It’s only under this current racist system  that things are different. No other race of women came close. This is why the media must perpetuate the lie that white women are supreme. Black women have the better body by a mile. Who else comes close? Many Puerto Rican,Cuban and Colombian women have nice bodies but they get it from the African woman anyway. Asian woman are no comparison either. Many Asian women are shaped like little teenage boys. And white women have no hips, thighs or butt. And the black woman ages better than all of them put together. What about hair? Our hair is the hair of the original people of this planet.  Our hair curls and rises up to the Sun.  Hair is not supposed to lay flat and lifeless. We have hair…everyone else has fur. So black women hold your head up high.  Don’t let them shame you about wearing weaves or saying it’s nappy. Non-black women always talk about black women’s hair because the black woman has them beat in ALL categories. I’ve covered the beauty of our hair in a past post. In the video below Rashida Strober explains her insecurities she’s had being dark skinned.  And how she copes with colorstruck black men.  She doesn’t hold back and never bites her tongue! She cuts right to the chase.

BW2Melanin6

I’ve also noticed that the darker the woman is the better she ages. That deep dark chocolate melanin is so beautiful and powerful.  This is why all these albino mutants hate on the black woman.  They want to degrade her and call her ugly and nappy-headed.  When in reality they know it’s all lies and they’re really jealous.  In this racist system they must lie to us and insult the Black Queen and uplift the white whore. This is why the media is always giving airtime to Kim Kardashian and Iggy Azalea. These are talentless white tramps but they get a pass because they have sex with black men.  They get no pass from me.  And black men need to wake up and stop giving these tramps props.  They are nothing but imitation black women.  And these biracial woman are also being used as the “ideal black woman”.  These white media puts way too many biracial/mixed women in commercials, sitcoms and films. I can count on one hand how many black women who are not biracial that appear on a sitcom or drama.  This is all done to keep the dark skinned black woman invisible.  They put white,Mexican,Indian,Puerto Rican,Asian women…all ahead of the dark skinned African looking woman. And this is why you have these sellout black entertainers who run out and marry some non-black woman so much.  They want to be given props for having a beautiful woman that society will accept.  That’s why you can tell a lot about a man by who he chooses to marry. And the African woman is considered the ugliest and most unattractive woman in the world. And this is the way the white racists want things to be.  But I reject all their lies.  The dark skinned black woman must be respected and uplifted.  And black men need to set the standard and stop following the standards of other races.  If your standard of beauty is the same as a white man…how are you any different than him?  The dark skinned woman is the mother to us all. That’s a fact. Whether you like it or not.  The dark skinned woman reminds them of Mother Africa.  Which we have been taught to hate therefore her presence offends  the brainwashed.   We don’t want to be reminded of where we come from. And no one respects a race of people who disrespects their mother. So you look like a fool calling a dark skinned woman tar baby, blackie, dark as night, nappy headed hoe, pitch black and ugly.  She is a reflection of you.  So when you diss her…..you’re dissing yourself. Keep your head up sistas!
