Serena Williams: Swirling with the Enemy

serena2

There’s been a lot of controversy about tennis player Serena Williams getting engaged to a white man recently.  Her fiancée is Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. There’s been a lot of talk in black media about this. I didn’t think  it was that  big of a deal at first. At least to me. Serena had dated rapper Common for many years.  And most recently she dated biracial rapper Drake.  But I wasn’t really shocked   because she and her sister Venus have dated white men before.

Here’s Serena with ex boyfriend Brett Ratner. He’s a film director and not a very good one at that.

Serena also dated her French coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

Here’s an interesting video(above) by Rashida Strober.  She gives a good commentary on why Serena may have gotten with a white man.  This is has been a subject on the minds of many black people. Did Serena just give up on black love?  Is she just a bed wench?

In this video(above) this brother talks about Serena saying that white men have treated her better in relationships. Is that really true?  Or is she just saying that? Is this a good reason to date white folks?  Or is it just a cop out?  Check out the videos and let me know your thoughts. Also be sure to check out BlackMyStory’s post on this topic.  It’s a great read! https://blackmystory.wordpress.com/2017/01/11/the-hypocrisy-of-serena-williams-and-the-female-swirlers/#comment-35394

23 Ways you can be Killed(Black Celebs speak out)

23 ways.....

I saw this video earlier today on YouTube.  It’s called 23 Ways you could be Killed being Black in America.  It’s from the organization We Are Here.  We are Here is singer Alicia Keys organization.

We are Here...

I’ve checked out her site.  It says on her website that their issues are equality, justice, women  and climate issues.  watching the video(above)  I liked the fact they brought up the murders of Sean Bell,Tamir Rice,Rekia Boyd,Eric Garner and Sandra Bland..among others.  Although I do find it interesting that the video was released on the third anniversary of the Trayvon Martin not guilty verdict.  I also found it interesting that Alicia Keys is the one heading this group fighting for equality for blacks.  Considering that just a few weeks ago Jesse Williams (another biracial) person speaking against police brutality.  I think it’s nice that Beyoncé,Chris Rock,Rihanna,Common and Taraji P Henson decided to speak out against these murders.  And of course they had to put white singers like Bono,Pink and Adam Levine in there as well.  That was just so the public doesn’t think this is some type of Black Power movement.  They always have to add a few whites in the mix.  But my major difference with these celebs is I don’t want equality with my oppressors.  I want freedom from oppression and real liberation.  Liberation is different than integration.  So do you think these black celebs are legit?  Do you think they really care?  Or is this just more racial propaganda?  Watch the video and let me know your thoughts.

Tales of Buffoonery: Episode 19(Barbershop 3)

Ice Cube..

The new film Barbershop:The Next Cut was released last week.  Do we really need a sequel to this foolishness?  It stars once again Ice Cube,Eve and Cedric the Entertainer.  But this time they have added rapper/actor Common and Nicki Minaj.  they should’ve just stopped at the first film.  That was enough for me.  But of course you know Hollywood loves to make sequels if the film makes a lot of money.  But this time the comedy has a message.  they address the issue of black on black violence in Chicago.  that’s cool, but I’m sure there will put much more buffoonery than social commentary in this film.

And Ice Cube and Common used to speak up on black issues back in the day.  Common was always Afrocentric and pro-black.  And Ice Cube used to speak out against racism and white bigotry. Cube would never bite his tongue back in 1991-1995.  But Cube has totally went soft!  he and Common having been making big money in Hollywood with their white masters and turned their backs on the people.  Both of these punks are soft as marshmallows.  They have NO integrity in my opinion. They use to have black pride, now they’re a disgrace. I can’t and wont support this garbage of a film.

Tales of Buffoonery: Episode 12 (Kerry Washington)

I guess this post was bound to happen. I know many people like Kerry Washington. I know a lot of different women look up to her as some type of role model. But I think there are just certain types of women(and men) who admire her. I think most proud black women who love black men and their community probably can see through the façade that Kerry is hiding behind. I admit like many black men, that Kerry is a beautiful woman. But just being beautiful doesn’t give you a pass. And I know she had a child with an African man. I give her some props for that. But who you choose to love, marry and reproduce is only part of the equation in the black struggle. Although I admit  it is a very important part. It’s also about what you stand for and who you stand against. I know many black women think rapper/actor Common is a handsome brother. And he dates sistas too. But he still needed to be called out for his recent buffoonish comments. So I believe that Kerry should also be called out as well. The reality is Kerry could’ve gotten this honor just for the show Scandal alone. I know there are those who will disagree with this post. But I have to stay true to myself and my own convictions. I had to do this post after I heard her comments at a recent award ceremony. The Scandal star was honored with a Vanguard Award at the 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards for being a champion for the LGBT community promoting equal rights. You can watch the video above and judge for yourself. Part of her speech as

Women, poor people, people of color, people with disabilities, immigrants, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, trans people, intersex people: we have been pitted against each other and made to feel like there are limited seats at the table for those of us who fall into the category of ‘other.”

Notice that she mentioned women, immigrants, bisexuals, trans people and “people of color??? Huh?? Why can’t she just say black people?? She didn’t even have the guts to mention her own race but can name everyone else. It’s because she’s in a room full of white homosexual and lesbians and doesn’t want to offend them. In Hollywood you can’t say the words “racism”, “Jewish control” or “white supremacy”. That’s a big NO NO! And Kerry knows it! if she wants to get a steady paycheck from her white masters she better stay far away from confronting those who really control things in Hollywood. Black people face discrimination and racism everyday day but she’s talking about gay rights?? Blacks aren’t even treated as equals right now. Many of us are homeless, unemployed, living in poverty, have no economic power base and killed by the cops every other day……and she’s talking about gay rights?? Negro please!! She can stand up for so-called “gay rights” but can’t speak up for her own people’s struggle.  The fact that she said “people of color” instead of blacks or African Americans is very telling. But wait..it gets better. Later on she does mention black people but it was to throw us under the bus! She goes on to attack black people for not accepting sexual perversion as normal. She claims black people have no right to criticize gays because we have been discriminated against as well.  Kerry says:

“We can’t say that we believe in each other’s fundamental humanity and then turn a blind eye to the reality of each others’ existence and the truth of each other’s hearts. We must be allies. And we must be allies in this business because to be represented is to be humanized. And as long as anyone, anywhere is being made to feel less human, our very definition of humanity is at stake and we are all vulnerable.”

Fundamental humanity???  Unarmed blacks are shot and choked to death by cops and the cops walk free!! We are shot and killed like dogs in the street Ms Washington! And you’re talking about humanity! You have lost your damn mind. How come you’re not as bold with the people who oppress your people?? But you can put black people in check right? Go sit your ass down somewhere! And take that anti-black,interracial promoting show with you! I’m so sick of you so-called “new blacks”.  She also says:

“So when black people today, tell me that they don’t believe in gay marriage…” Then she gives a side eye.

This was very disturbing for a few reasons. For one, she’s making that connection that the gay struggle is the same as the black struggle. I’ve covered this many times on my blog. They keep using these house negroes to push their gay agenda. I can’t believe people still try to fight me on this point, It’s pretty obvious what they’re doing at this point. She is trying to make the correlation between the oppression of slavery versus homophobia. This is a massive FAIL. You’re dead wrong for that Kerry. And if you notice in the video when she makes this statement about black people it gets a standing ovation and the biggest applause. Hmmm…..a bit strange isn’t it? Why is that? It’s because they know most black people don’t condone that behavior. And Kerry is just a puppet for her elite masters. She is doing exactly what they tell her to say and do. These so-called “new blacks” are seriously getting on my damn nerves. I’m tired of these loud mouth sell outs. This goes for Charles Barkley,Don Lemon,Raven Symone,Common and all the rest. Last year Don Lemon was awarded as Self Hater of the Year. I think Kerry might be the front runner this year. Her statements disgusted me! No more Mr Nice Guy. I’m calling out all these buffoons in sports or entertainment. I’m pulling no punches from now on.

Kerry1

Kerry hanging out at the awards show with anti-blackness screenwriter Shonda Rhimes. Along with(anti-sexual) Ellen Degenerate and her “wife”. Everyone is all smiles in a system of oppressing black people. It’s all good Kerry. At least now we all know where your loyalty lies.

Tales of Buffoonery : Episode 11( Common)

This is a video by Youtuber Mr SuperBoy. He makes some very valid points. Common was really slipping with these statements.

Common

I’ve always like Common as a rapper. He’s never been afraid to speak out on social issues that effect black people. He has always presented himself as a proud black man. And he’s impressed me lately with his acting skills. He’s a pretty talented actor in the films I’ve seen him in. But I think the money and fame has gotten to him. He’s starting to express some  of that “post racial” nonsense. He was on the Daily Show with John Stewart recently. Some of his statements on the show:

If we’ve been bullied, we’ve been beat down and we don’t want it anymore. We are not extending a fist and we are not saying, ‘You did us wrong.’ It’s more like, ‘Hey, I’m extending my hand in love,’” he said to host Jon Stewart. “Let’s forget about the past as much as we can and let’s move from where we are now. How can we help each other? Can you try to help us because we are going to try to help ourselves, too.”

To underscore his resolution, the Chicago native went on to state how focusing on racism from the past is similar to reiterating negative issues within relationships.

“Me as a black man, I’m not sitting there like, ‘Hey, white people, y’all did us wrong.’ We know that existed,” Common said. “I don’t even have to keep bringing that up. It’s like being in a relationship and continuing to bring up the person’s issues. Now I’m saying, ‘Hey, I love you. Let’s move past this. Come on, baby, let’s get past this.’”

Forget the past??? Forget the history of slavery, rape, lynching,Jim Crow?? Is he serious?? I think he’s saying what will make his masters in Hollywood happy. I think these statements are utterly ridiculous. This is what happens when black people who once had revolutionary type of thinking must compromise their belief system. I really liked Common. It pains me to have to put him in the buffoon category. Do you agree? Was Common really out of line with these statements?
