Jossie Thacker was born on January 1, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. As one of the most sought out dancers, touring the world with top artist such as; Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Guy and Heavy D, Jossie was invited to star as one of the acclaimed, “Fly Girls”, in Keenan Ivory Wayan’s, and FOX’s hit T.V show, “In Living Color”, alongside her girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey, Jamie Fox, and Damon Wayans.

Jossie became known as the world-renowned fly-girl who rocked the braids and ripped the dance floor. Jossie’s arrival in tinsel town on, In Living Color, set the stage for her flourishing acting career. Following, In Living Color, Jossie honed in on her natural acting talent landing starring roles in: NCIS, The West Wing, ER, Charmed & That’s So Raven, led to Jossie gracing the stage as “Desdemona” in Shakespeare’s, “Othello”, opposite acclaimed actor, Charles E. Dutton. Jossie’s stage credits also include the role of “Julia” in “Becoming Cuban”, written by Carlos LaCamara.

Cast in the lead role, “Margo”, alongside “Ugly Betty’s”, Tony Plana, in the LA production of Havana Bourgeois, then alongside “Cold Case”, lead actor, Danny Pino, in the Miami production, at the famous, Miracle Mile Theater. Jossie’s television credits include CBS’s, “NCIS”, ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”, “Private Practice”, ABC Family’s, “Make it or Break it”, TNT’s, “The Closer”, Nickelodean’s “Gigantic”, and BC’s “The Event” and was recently seen on Bounce TV’s new hit series, “My Crazy Room mate”. Jossie can be seen this season in Fox’s, hit series, “EMPIRE”.

Jossie’s lead performance in the NAACP nominated short, “Brooklyn’s bride to Jordan”, led to her award winning role, “Charlie”, in Chicago International Film Festival’s best film, “Mississippi Damned”, which earned Jossie “Best Supporting Actress” award. Jossie recently won the People’s Choice award for “Best Lead Actress”, at the Las Vegas Film Festival for her film work in, “No Weapon Formed Against Us”, and starred in award winning film, “Boppin’ at the Glue Factory”, as well as in, Sergio Arau’s film, “A Day without a Mexican”, “Who made the Potato Salad”, and, “The Halfway Diner”, written by, John Sayles, to name a few. Jossie was recently invited to become a Committee Board Member of the Chicago International Film Festival, Black Perspectives Program. Jossie’s producer credits, include acquiring projects under her production company “JoEJoS Productions”, and “BeFLYCreate, Inc.”, including the original screenplay, “Conversations with Damaged Men”, which stars Jossie in the challenging role of a bitter, paraplegic writer, “Joan’s Damn Studio”, a story of a struggling ex-dancer, single mom, fighting to keep her dance studio, as well as food on the table for both her son and displaced mother. And Jossie’s, real life passion project, “Just JOSSIE”, a web show on, YouTube, inspired by her 2 young boys. ”Just JOSSIE”, and her industry friends help navigate, teach and inspire dancers and all types of artist pursuing a career in the entertainment business. Jossie has been married for 18 years and is the proud mother of two boys. Jossie’s motto is: “Hard WORK + Immovable FAITH = Dreams ACTUALIZED”.

Vanessa Bell Calloway is a stage, screen and television actress who’s earned eight NAACP Image Award nominations.

Best known for her roles in the box office smashes “Coming to America”, “What’s Love Got to Do with,” “Biker Boyz,” “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,” “Daylight,” “The Inkwell,” “Crimson Tide,” “The Brothers,” “Cheaper By The Dozen,” “The Temptations” and she voiced the lead female role in the animated feature “Bebe’s Kids”.

Calloway is currently recurring on three television shows, John Well’s top-rated hour drama “Shameless” on Showtime, a new show “The Hand Of God” to premier this summer on Amazon and “Murder In The First” on TNT. Vanessa recently starred in TV ONE’s new movie for television “To Hell and Back”  along with Ernie Hudson. She  has also recurred on TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles,” as Gail Strummer the arch nemesis of Jada Pinkett Smith’s on “Hawthorne RN”, as judge Campbell on NBC’s “Harry’s Law” and “Go On,” which starred Matthew Perry.

Independent features include “The Under Shepherd” with Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy), The “Last Fall” with Lance Gross (Our Family Wedding), and “The Obama Effect” with Charles Dutton (Roc). Independent features soon to be released include “The Preachers Son”, “The Mistress”, “The Bounce Back”, “Medicine Men” and “Scout”.

A character actress in demand, Calloway has guest starred on CBS’s NCIS and Reckless. ABC’s Castle and Detroit 187,Showtime’s Dexter, GMC’s Between Sisters, BET’s Let’s Stay Together, Cold Case, The Closer, CSI, CSI Miami and The District just to name a few. This summer she will guess star on the BET smash hit “Real Husbands Of Hollywood”.

Vanessa’s stage credits are many. She recently received an NAACP Theater Award for Best Actress for her riveting  and highly acclaimed portrayal of Zora Neale Hurston in “Letters From Zora” which sold out performances at The Pasadena Playhouse on two separate engagements. She also received raved reviews when she performed “Letters From Zora” at The Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick NJ. She was apart of the original Broadway cast of the hit musical Dreamgirls, and she starred in Seven Guitars at The August Wilson 20th Century Theater Festival held at The Kennedy Center, and in the Los Angeles production of The Piano Lesson. Vanessa brought the house down in “The Divorce” written by Donald B. Welch, and starred in the LA stage production of “Crowns” at The Ebony Repertory Theater and The Pasadena Playhouse. She has performed in several other Los Angeles theater productions as well. She recently was reunited with Zora playwright Gabrielle Pina for this special production of “Dreaming Of Harlem Under A High Southern Sky,” which also received raved reviews.
