I have a lot of pictures I’ve collected over the years. I have collected hundreds of beautiful images of black women over a period of time. Many of them I have never used in a post. So I thought I would post some of the beauties from the 70’s,80’s,90’s…up into the present. You may recognize some of the faces. Others you may not. Some of them are beauty contest winners, famous actresses, aspiring models and singers. This post is open for anyone to put up pictures of black women they think are beautiful or exceptional in some way. This post is a celebration of all the beautiful women in the African diaspora. Or as I call it Melanin Heaven! Enjoy!
After being brainwashed by Eurocentric beauty standards for the first 20 years of life it give me strength to see posts like these. I know, I know it sounds sad to a brother or sister who lives in a majority black area but for us out in the white suburbs the constant barrage of black as ugly can do a number on the psyche. Black women aren’t just eye candy either, they are our mothers, sisters, daughters and the root that holds us up and never let’s us fall! MW appreciation threads are great because they let the sistas know that not all of us are a lost cause, no matter what the MSM wants everyone to think.

Glad you appreciate the post. Peace.
I hear you. Black women are the finest on the planet. There is no competition. Glad you liked the post. Thank you.
Damn, Your Highness!
I guess you liked it.lol And I have many more pics like this. This isn’t even a fraction of the pics I have.
Their lies can’t stand to reality!
The reality is that when they see our royal presence in public has always made them feel uncomfortable!
The more we embrace our natural beauty and the more it makes them burn out of anger!
Even in a next reincarnation I want be “Black woman!” for now and forever!
Isn’t only about skin tone is something that’s makes me feel more human!
I agree Nubian. We need to embrace our own beauty. W need to throw away the Eurocentric standards. The quicker we do that the better off we’ll be. Black women are the cream of the crop in my opinion. All other races of women are second rate. A total downgrade from the original woman.
Thank you Kushite for celebrate the black beauty, and remind to us that Black women aren’t what they said,”We are the original beauty!”
Really I appreciate!
Thank you Nubian! I salute you queen!
How did I get cavities, looking @Pictures?
Why am I going to the dentist for a haircut? (That’ last one grown-folk talk. LOL)
U gotta Young Toni Braxton before a nose job, Young Kenya Moore before a botched ass job & ratchet behavior on minstrels.
But see dat right, there. Who? That right there! U know GOD IS A BLACK WOMAN named Angela Basset. Then Jesus is Denise Boutte. This here is MELANIN HEAVEN. Kill me now.
I apologize Nat. I didn’t mean to give you cavities!lol But I didn’t hold back. This is a lot of sweet chocolate to behold. It can be a too much to digest. I understand your sentiments. I had a lot of old pics I never used so I just decided I would upload some of them. If people like it enough I’ll do a part two. What do you think? In the meantime here’s another picture of Denise to hold you over.

Melanin heaven indeed! I love my people!

Thanks! Glad you like it. It’s mostly old pics I’ve had over the years. I think I’m going to do a part two since so many liked this one.
Great! I would love to see it!
Thanks! I think you’ll love it!
Revisiting this once a day. Keeps the eurocentricism from sinking too far deep into my skin. Black+Black= GOD.
I like that! Now you’re talking!
Thank you so much KP for the beautiful pictures of my sisters! I especially love the picture you have of the late Phyllis Hyman. I’ve always admired her regal, elegant, and sophisticated beauty, and her melodious voice! She represented class for sisters. Unfortunately, Hollyweird didn’t like that, and basically killed her spirits!
Yes she was amazing. Her voice was special. She was one of a kind and still greatly missed. I still think she’s underrated.
Black women are the most beautiful, most confident women on the planet. There is no beauty like ours. We are the true Queens of the Earth.
Thanks RoShumba! I put a lot of work into this post. I’m glad you liked it. I’m also glad to see you back. You been gone awhile sis.
American sisters are very beautiful, feminine and outspoken. I love energy of black American women. If I were to live in the Americas, I would definitely hang around the sistas. lol. I like their cute accents. But I would like to see the sisters embrace their African side. So that they can be in touch with reality and find their identity.
Thanks a lot. I agree with you. Glad you liked the post.
