Who were the Neanderthals?? They sure weren’t Africans!

Caveman2

If your heritage is non-African, you are part Neanderthal, according to a new study in the July issue of Molecular Biology and Evolution. Discovery News has been reporting on human/Neanderthal interbreeding for some time now, so this latest research confirms earlier findings.

Damian Labuda of the University of Montreal’s Department of Pediatrics and the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center conducted the study with his colleagues. They determined some of the human X chromosome originates from Neanderthals, but only in people of non-African heritage.

“This confirms recent findings suggesting that the two populations interbred,” Labuda was quoted as saying in a press release. His team believes most, if not all, of the interbreeding took place in the Middle East, while modern humans were migrating out of Africa and spreading to other regions.

The ancestors of Neanderthals left Africa about 400,000 to 800,000 years ago. They evolved over the millennia mostly in what are now France, Spain, Germany and Russia. They went extinct, or were simply absorbed into the modern human population, about 30,000 years ago.

Caveman1

Neanderthals possessed the gene for language and had sophisticated music, art and tool craftsmanship skills, so they must have not been all that unattractive to modern humans at the time.

“In addition, because our methods were totally independent of Neanderthal material, we can also conclude that previous results were not influenced by contaminating artifacts,” Labuda said.

This work goes back to nearly a decade ago, when Labuda and his colleagues identified a piece of DNA, called a haplotype, in the human X chromosome that seemed different. They questioned its origins.

Fast forward to 2010, when the Neanderthal genome was sequenced. The researchers could then compare the haplotype to the Neanderthal genome as well as to the DNA of existing humans. The scientists found that the sequence was present in people across all continents, except for Saharan Africa, and including Australia.

“There is little doubt that this haplotype is present because of mating with our ancestors and Neanderthals,” said Nick Patterson of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University. Patterson did not participate in the latest research. He added, “This is a very nice result, and further analysis may help determine more details.”

David Reich, a Harvard Medical School geneticist, added, “Dr. Labuda and his colleagues were the first to identify a genetic variation in non-Africans that was likely to have come from an archaic population. This was done entirely without the Neanderthal genome sequence, but in light of the Neanderthal sequence, it is now clear that they were absolutely right!”

The modern human/Neanderthal combo likely benefitted our species, enabling it to survive in harsh, cold regions that Neanderthals previously had adapted to.

“Variability is very important for long-term survival of a species,” Labuda concluded. “Every addition to the genome can be enriching.”

Resurrection of Black Manhood: Becoming Warriors(Part 4 of 4)

This is a powerful lecture by the late great Amos Wilson.  He explains how black men need to become warriors as well as healers and builders. He breaks it down as only he can.  We need more warrior scholars like him. The time as come for black men to stand up and reclaim their neighborhoods. We need to be there to raise our children and protect black women. We need to be there to guide our sons and be a positive influence on our nephews and male cousins.  We need to also be there to protect our daughters. Also to love the mother of our daughters and show them how a real man is supposed to treat a woman.

Warrior Pic

An Afrikan warrior scholar refuses to be at peace with anything less than the total liberation of his people. In fact, he should daily affirm that “I am an Afrikan warrior, a warrior scholar. I refuse to be at peace with anything less.” He is culturally and politically a PanAfrikan nationalist. He believes that Afrikan people are Afrikans wherever we are found. I.e., the Afrikan warrior scholar believes that he should unselfishly employ the same dedication and energy to the defense and empowerment of Afrikans everywhere. The warrior scholar is not a racist. There is no confusion. His loyalty is conscious, race conscious, placing “Race First.” Or, as the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey would say, Afrikan warrior scholars are “Race Men.” They know that to be pro-Black is not to be anti-white unless Europeans interfere with them doing their work. The Afrikan warrior scholar is an educator, not a teacher. He politically explains conditions so that his children, his students, will become better warrior scholars than he. Teachers only dispense another’s information in order to train their students to become nonthinking citizens in an alien culture and society. The warrior scholar does not separate word from act. Leaving his people without a viable example to guide them in freeing their minds would be beneath his Afrikan reasoning. The Afrikan warrior scholar is a worker of the first order and, therefore, a leader by example. He is a doer, a nationbuilder, a maker of his people’s way. In this respect, he is a nonintellectual in that he practically applies his knowledge. He does not see war waged in some debate, whether great or small. There must be a field application of tactics and strategies. As an educator, he fits information into reality. He understands the cultural ourstory which has created his people’s conditions and distorted their vision. He studies the problem, internally and externally, not those victimized by it. He does not define Afrikans as the core problem. And whatever internal symptoms he observes are logically attributed to our “cultural misorientation.” He does not pass on his miseducation. He corrects it. He educates himself so that he can teach an ancient Afrikan truth. Therefore, he reads a revolutionary ourstory, the theory of causes and solutions to our people’s problems. He feeds himself and the community from the library he builds. The Afrikan warrior scholar unconditionally respects Afrikan women. He is their defender, their lover, their divine complement. The Afrikan warrior scholar is an entrepreneur. He instills independence in other Afrikans by finding a way to provide, regardless of circumstance. He creatively controls the process of production, the input, throughput and output. He distinguishes wealth from income and power from influence. He pursues empowerment, not subintegration, because he knows that the quality of a substance is felt through its ability to autonomously determine its path. He creates meaningful employment, even if only because he knows that poverty spawns antagonism among a people. The Afrikan warrior scholar is a perimeter defender. He is the first line of defense for our people, for our most valuable resources, our elders, women and children. He is always prepared for any exigency. Afrikan warrior scholars are exacters of justice, using nonviolence as only one tactic in a collection of measures making up his strategic arsenal. He speaks to Europeans in their language. And he also speaks in the language of those Afrikans who mentacidally seek to help destroy our community. His words cut deep and clean. No one leaves with doubt as to his intent. He protects his daughters from misguided sons and sons from confused peers. He is ready to die for his children, biological and otherwise.”

Resurrection of Black Manhood: Black Fatherhood(Part 3 of 4)

This is a great documentary on Black Fatherhood. This is a short documentary focusing on the thoughts, experiences and ideas of different Black men on the importance of fatherhood. With so many negative images aimed at Black men being fathers these are some real life stories from men expressing that Daddy Matters.

Black Dads3

A recent New York Times study led with the sobering headline, “1.5 Million Missing Black Men.” It included such findings as this: “Of the 1.5 million missing black men from 25 to 54—which demographers call the prime-age years—higher imprisonment rates account for almost 600,000. Almost 1 in 12 black men in this age group are behind bars.” This massive incarceration, compounded by substandard health care and fragile mortality rates, results in a fact that leaped from the study:

More than one out of every six black men who today should be between 25 and 54 years old have disappeared from daily life.

Here’s the thing, though: Many of them aren’t “missing.” They haven’t “disappeared.” Many of them have been stolen, ripped from their families to feed bloated prison cells, then regurgitated back out into society, more than likely unable to vote or find a job that enables them to care for their families. There is a direct line from slavery straight to the prison-industrial complex, a devastating continuum that first dehumanizes, then enslaves and criminalizes black bodies for profit, ultimately rendering them killable in the eyes of society. And because patriarchy is the poison of choice in a heteronormative society that places value on the “traditional” family and its central role in community building, there has always been a very concentrated effort to subjugate and oppress black men.

Still … black men are present and engaged fathers who love their children.

Black Dads1

“People think they don’t care, but we know they do,” said Joseph Jones, president of the Center for Urban Families, an organization that works to support African-American fathers, to the Los Angeles Times. “We see how dads are fighting against the odds to be engaged in the lives of their children.”

In 2013 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a study that I’ve cited often over the years, “Fathers’ Involvement With Their Children: United States, 2006-2010” (pdf). It does a great job shattering some pervasive myths about African-American fathers. The findings include the following:

* More African-American fathers live with their children (2.5 million) than live apart from their children (1.7 million).

Of African-American fathers surveyed who live with their children,

* 78.2 percent fed or ate meals with their children daily, compared with 73.9 percent of white fathers;

* 70.4 percent bathed, diapered or dressed their children daily, compared with 60.0 percent of white fathers;

* 82.2 percent played with their children daily, compared with 82.7 percent of white fathers;

* 34.9 percent read to their children daily, compared with 24.9 percent of white fathers;

* 40.6 percent helped their children with their homework or checked to make sure that they finished it daily, compared with 29.3 percent of white fathers.

* Of the fathers who live away from their children, African-American fathers outperformed white and Latino fathers on nearly all measures surveyed, including reading to their children daily, helping them with homework and changing their diapers.

Black Dads2

While it is certainly true that many fathers need to step up and take better care of their children, this is not specific to black fathers by a long shot; and yet too many of us have internalized that self-hatred as easily as we’ve digested the myth of black-on-black crime. Even where there is parity in the numbers, black fathers surveyed were no less present in their children’s lives, despite the deadbeat-dad myth that dogs their steps.

It could be argued, then, that pundits and politicians would be better served pontificating on the pathology of absent white fathers, those who aren’t faced with the same structural impediments but still come up short. You know, the ones who start at third base but still can’t make it to home plate for dinner.

But that wouldn’t be good political theater, now, would it?

And for those in our communities who would say, “Well, we shouldn’t be concerned about what other fathers are doing,” I would then question why too many people with a platform seem to be performing that criticism for the white gaze in order to procure “tough love” points and respectability certificates.

Conservative demagogues, such as Bill O’Reilly and Geraldo Rivera, are expected to indulge in such tactics out of either malice or ignorance, but the propaganda also comes from African-American men in high places, such as President Barack Obama, whose scathing indictments seem to reflect a desire to play the role of father-in-chief, reprimanding a wayward African-American demographic that dreams of earning his approval.

Resurrection of Black Manhood: Emasculation Continues…..(Part 2 of 4)

This is a great video by Dr Rick Wallace.  This brother examines the emasculation process of black men.  This os a very in depth video.  He makes some very valid points that black men need to pay attention too.

Black Male1

The tolerated, accepted and even promoted emasculation of African American men is setting an awful and unacceptable example for our young men. What woman looks at a man who wears a freakin dress and yet still considers him a man? Our brothers are not standing up in the community, in church or even in the home – if they are even there. The role as Head of the Household commanded by God is slowly being dismantled in African American families and our women have lost respect for African American men. At least Dave Chappelle took a stand against the plot of emasculation.

For those in our community who are offended, don’t be. You have to understand that the decisions you thought were your own were instead motivated by outside influences with hidden agendas. So now that we know the problem, what do we do to fix it? First we have to admit it. Second we have to expose it. Expose what? Expose the strategic and deliberate plan set in place to degrade African American men in masculinity, credibility, authority and value. Third we have to refuse to support it. This means we must not support anything than diminishes or devalues the masculinity and authority of our brothers – movies, TV shows, job openings, careers etc. The courts must see us as men, the police must see us as men, our women and children must see us as men, our communities must see us as men and every ethnic group, race or culture in this country must see us as men.

Fourth of all, we must require our women to respect us or we must go elsewhere. That also means, of course, that we men must respect each other, act like men, think like men and stand up like men, refusing to accept anything less from ourselves. We must in turn hold each other accountable guys. Fifth of all, we must hold our young men and boys accountable and set the right examples for them. This means telling them to pull their pants up, dust themselves off when they fall and get back in the game. We cannot accept weak men or boys.

Ladies, you must neither accept emasculated men or sons nor attempt to emasculate them. God has said the man is the head of the household because He said so, not because the man meets your standards ladies of what you think the head should be. Our women are going to have to accept that or they will become part of the problem instead of part of the solution. A real man will never sleep on the couch when he has a bed upstairs just as his woman does.

Black Male5

A real man will never get in the doghouse because he is not a dog. He is not “ya boy”. He is not “my n*gga”. He is not to be addressed with “what up dog” because he is not a dog. He is not going to the “crib” because he is not a baby. He must not be a homosexual because such perversion distorts roles in the family, goes against God, presents an awful example, confuses the young male children, decreases reproduction within our “race” and plays directly into the hands of those who want to take our manhood through emasculation. If you were created a man, be a man. I could care less if people are upset about this article or call me intolerant. Am I intolerant of sin, perversion and that which reduces our numbers in the African American community? You bet I am. I am not homophobic because I am not afraid of any man who walks this Earth, especially a homosexual, transgender, bisexual or otherwise man-less male. And thus I am not afraid to speak the truth. Tolerance is approval and I do not approve.

For those who accept your boys and young men being homosexual or emasculated, you have forgotten you can love your child without accepting his behavior. It is the responsibility of a father to place his children on the right path by raising them in the way they should go – not to accept when they go astray. Men must be men, not something somewhere between men, women and who knows what. I love my people and so I am speaking out, popular or not, politically incorrect or not. And we would do well to completely clean out the closet instead of supporting those who are coming out of it. The future, longevity and population growth of our people is at stake.

There is a plot being used against us just like those of the King Alfred Plan, REX 84, Cointel Pro and a host of other schemes to weaken our men and reduce our numbers. Physical slavery ended before it could finish the task so mental slavery picked up where physical slavery left off. But this time the plot is being implemented by using popular figures in the African American community, tricking our women into putting us down and tricking African American men into accepting or tolerating thee redefining of him as anything but a man.

Resurrection of Black Manhood(Masculine Principle): The Effeminization Process(Part 1 of 4)

Black Male2

This series will focus on the attack on Black Manhood. This is part one of a four part series. This video is by Irritated Genie.  It’s a great video that perfectly explains the long attack on black manhood in Amerikkka and abroad.  This is something that effects all men in the African diaspora. This is a vicious assault on the thought process on black men.  In Africa we had the masculine principle that celebrated us as warriors,fathers and protectors of our women and children. I also have a series coming up about the Divine Feminine Principle as well.  Stay tuned for that. This attack on black manhood is evident in everything from tv dramas,movies and sports.  It seems to a never ending assault. Black men all across the world must speak out against this. These homosexuals and transgenders are not the proper representation for us at all. This is nothing but a psychological warfare.

Black Male4Black Male3

“Effeminization is the only process, the last desperate attempt, that survival oriented Afrikan males can strike back against the enemy within without attacking the real source of their fears about their own manhood. It has increasingly become a viable alternative for those who are unwilling to confront, and permanently suppress, their vanquished state. But slipping into this mentality and its accompanying lifestyle is only one of the options available to vanquished Afrikan males.” ~ Baba Mwalimu Baruti
Gay Greeks
America is a Greco-Roman society. Greeks and Romans practiced homosexuality all the time.  It was normal in their culture. Men having sex with each other  and with little boys was normal. Now America is trying to recreate that ancient society by brainwashing black people into thinking it’s a “normal lifestyle”.  This is NOT what people of African descent should be doing.  You must know the ways of your enemy in order to survive.  America is nothing but an anti-African,anti-nature,anti-black society. We have to always keep that in mind.
