Assimilation Fantasies- Amos Wilson

Amos4Amos3

Cultural assimilation is the process by which a person or a group’s language and/or culture come to resemble those of another group. The term is used to refer to both individuals and groups, and in the latter case it can refer to either immigrant diasporas or native residents that come to be culturally dominated by another society. Assimilation may involve either a quick or gradual change depending on circumstances of the group. Full assimilation occurs when new members of a society become indistinguishable from members of the other group. Whether or not it is desirable for an immigrant group to assimilate is often disputed by both members of the group and those of the dominant society.

  1. The horrible true nature of these photos is hard to see. You don’t get this in the history book now do you? It reminds me of this from a while back. I pasted the link at the bottom of the quote if you’re interested. It’s nothing new this assimilation. When Columbus first came ashore and was greeted by the Arawak native Americans with smiles, gifts and food, he wrote in his log:
“They brought us parrots and balls of cotton and spears and many other things … they willingly traded everything they owned … They do not bear arms, and do not know them, for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of cane … They would make fine servants … With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.”
Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States”
From the very outset Columbus was writing about conquering and enslaving the natives. Meanwhile the Arawaks, brought gifts, prepared food, and traded everything they owned.

    Columbus wrote that the natives,
“are so naïve and so free with their possessions that no one who has not witnessed them would believe it. When you ask for something they have, they never say no. To the contrary, they offer to share with anyone.”
    He also wrote,
“I believe that they would easily be made Christians, because it seemed to me that they had no religion.”
The European settlers took a free society without possessions, property, currency, hierarchy or written religion and replaced it with today’s America – the world’s shining beacon of selfish materialism, where every square inch of land/water/airspace is publicly or privately owned, taxed, and governed through a corrupt hierarchical system of laws and regulations where Mother Nature’s gifts are treated as personal possessions to be bought, sold, owned and defended.

Howard Zinn, in “A People’s History of the United States” continues:
    “Columbus wrote:
‘As soon as I arrived in the Indies, on the first Island which I found, I took some of the natives by force in order that they might learn and might give me information of whatever there is in these parts.’
The information that Columbus wanted most was: Where is the gold? … His second expedition was given seventeen ships and more than twelve hundred men. The aim was clear: slaves and gold … They went from island to island in the Caribbean, taking Indians as captives … roaming the island in gangs looking for gold, taking women and children as slaves for sex and labor.”

“It was his [Columbus’] avowed aim to ‘convert the heathen Indians to our Holy Faith’ that warranted the enslaving and exporting of thousands of Native Americans. That such treatment resulted in complete genocide did not matter as much as that these natives had been given the opportunity of everlasting life through their exposure to Christianity. The same sort of thinking also gave Westerners license to rape women. In his own words, Columbus described how he himself ‘took [his] pleasure’ with a native woman after whipping her ‘soundly’ with a piece of rope.”
Helen Ellerbe, “The Dark Side of Christian History” (86-88)
By 1496 the settlers were responsible for 34 million native American deaths. We are not talking about some guy who accidentally bumped into America looking for a spice-trade route to India, but that’s what the standardized textbooks continue to tell our children.

Columbus, the conquistadors, the Pirates, and many pilgrims were hostile and ruthless groups of settlers who were collectively responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of natives.

    Howard Zinn continues:
“the Spaniards thought nothing of knifing Indians by tens and twenties and of cutting slices off them to test the sharpness of their blades … Las Cases says, ‘from 1494 to 1508 over three million people had perished from war, slavery, and the mines. Who in future generations will believe this? I myself writing it as a knowledgeable eyewitness can hardly believe it.’”

  3. Civil Right movement and assimilation/integration ideology is very powerful and very anti-African, the idea blacks should integrate with whites is only helpful to whites as blacks, unlike Jews, we hold no economic power over whites, so any previous powerful politicians and community spokespersons became easy to infiltrate and bribe to work in favor of whites or any other groups that pays them.

Civil Rights first of all was a stupid concept, to allow whites to have total power of us when we should have searched for autonomy and self-governance, the sign of a confident, power-seeking people. Ancestor Wilson pointed this out continuously if we just used self-determination and economic cooperation and empowerment we could at least control part of how our neighborhoods are run, our media and vision of the world is and our own plans and how we (not whites) can make a difference and shape the world as well as to not think we should work for the same whites who don’t even want us here, (notice Africans in the US fought for Civil Rights and ‘equality’ but after the immigration changes, Asians and Latinos grew massively but America still receives less black migrants from around the world than people from Europe alone).

Not only is this a sign of mass collective amnesia but is a sign of self-destruction by blacks, who saw the rise of totally non-existent problems prior to that generation like the growth of black poverty (and to a lesser extent a larger black middle class), single parenthood, black male joblessness (due to reliance on whites for 98% of black people’s job, even though black owned businesses employ black people at twice the rate of non-black), the rise of a seriously negative ghetto culture (which was fairly limited until the 1968). The amnesia is on the fact blacks already had Civil Rights which states ignored, this from the Reconstruction era in the 1870’s as well as Constitutional Rights which are supposed to be the ‘highest laws of the land’. Even on paper there was no need for a Civil Rights movement as it wasn’t the rights that never existed racist white ignored already existing laws. Alternatively separate-but-equal was never inherently illegal, because it would provide the same rights as well as autonomy to the races (why do you think Native Americans have their own courts and government and reservations and nobody calls them out), the main problem with separate-but-equal was not that it was segregatory but it was used by whites economically to destroy blacks who had little access to the larger white market and block them from been able to compete properly with whites, meanwhile whites ran governments and banks and refused to loan to or would put in debt black businesses to help the white middle class, they would take black people’s money and then give more funds to white only public services and the white owned private sector, which was illegal as it is not separate-but-equal but separate and unequal (unequally funded or treated not that separation is morally wrong). It was whites who did the offending who also chose the rights to reintegrate blacks into a ‘free market’ which they now completely owned and now blacks (who were competitive with white in the Reconstruction era before most NGO’s even existed) are now workers and hold no economic power over whites. Remember the 1% richest whites have been getting consecutively richer and own more wealth every decade since the 1960’s (no way for blacks to economically compete unless a major disruption to Western peace occurs).

Notice no other group of people other than black people hold up integrating people as leaders or heros, why is there no Arab, or Chinese, or Gypsy MLK’s or Mandela’s, why is it the next best thing to MLK the ‘non-violent’ leader is a racist Hindu nationalist called Gandhi who was prepared to fight if things got too out of hand (Gandhi was killed by his own people, they were far from non-violent, only when it came to the British they were biding their time, remember the same Indians fought wars with artificial Muslims countries such as Pakistan and almost came into conflict many time with China). Black people are not questioning these issues with sense or even analysing the past properly, even looks like blacks are ignoring huge chunks of their history and continuing failed ideologies. Every other ethnicity and race of people have heroes, their’s have been autonomous thinking and leading people’s, nationalists not integrationalists, this includes these same white Americans who ‘segregated’ their economy and laws from the British Empire after a war, hence their heroes fought for independence not ‘equality’ even look at subjugated non-black groups around the world right now, Muslims in the Philippines, South Ossetia, Chechnya, Russian separatisms in the Ukraine, Palestine vs Israel who are doing the same right now, look at other groups that have been conquered right now like Native Americans in the USA, Tibetans in China, Kurds in several Middle Eastern countries, these people push for segregation aka separatism aka autonomy (self-governance). We are literally the only group in history who has ever held integration over self-rule. SMH

We have really been duped into believing MLK was a hero, in a country which celebrate nothing but wars, war heroes and having the biggest army in the world, MLK (although he realized the Civil Rights movements mistakes after 1963’s failure to do anything, uselessness of marching), essentially black America is the easiest war for white America (a globally dominating group who fight, fund and arm wars all the time to steal from others), economically we defaulted to them and then they stopped employing our working class so destroying our ability to even to compete with other groups that they have let literally flood America since 1964.
