Do You believe in the Devil?

This is a cute video. Very simple and to the point. It looks like it was made simple so that even kids could understand it. It’s just a little food for thought. Let me know what you think.

  1. Very cute, and funny. Lol. But it’s simple we need to create our own things to benefit us. Not depend on the white folks to save us. I think that’s what this little video was trying to teach us. I liked it.

  2. Lol I am glad you have posted this I have seen this and It made alot of good sence. Not only that It made sence. It just the mire truth. That our people don’t see. So yeah we live off the DEVILS GOODS . But we don’t phase to see on making It out there on own. And making it happen, we are the children that are suppose to be truth teller’s by getting the message out there. And were nation builders. So By action speak’s louder then word’s Our people will not do for self because they want the devil to do it for them… I thought this was a good video.

  3. there is no devil and not all evil is white
Control via fear, if this is aimed at children, how terrible to use fear to control children … there is no devil just good and bad in all flavors

    • Whether there is an actual red man with a pitchfork is debatable. There are religious people who would disagree with you. But you have the right to believe as you wish. Good and bad in all races? Of course but that depends on your definition of “good” and “bad”. You will have to give me your definitions. After over 300 years of the African Holocaust done to my ancestors by Europeans and Jews—you would agree they were acting “devilish”,right? It does not mean they are the REAL DEVIL. It means they were acting demonic and heartless. Do you disagree? I use it in the context of how we were and still are treated in American culture.

      • An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, “Let me tell you a story.

I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.

But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times.” He continued, “It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.

But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.

Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit.”

The boy looked intently into his Grandfather’s eyes and asked, “Which one wins, Grandfather?”

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, “The one I feed.”

      • That’s an old Cherokee tale.I remember my mother telling it to me when I was a kid. It’s a very inspiring tale. I’m lucky to family and friends that love and care about me. So I am not preoccupied with hate. When you’re filled with hatred it doesn’t allow you to enjoy life. However, when you see evil people spreading terror and death–you must speak out against it. Can I ask you a question? Do you think love can conquer hate? I have heard that phrase my entire life.

      • yes i do think love conquers all, and yes i think we have to speak out and at times fight back

i think a lot of the hate comes from the ridiculous, materialistic expectations people have of life and love. when their expectations do not manifest as they thought they look for scapegoat … am very afraid when things get worse people in US will blame each other instead of the criminals in office and the bankers.

      • Yes that’s true about the bankers. They’re trying to create an ultra rich and working class poor society. Most people don’t do enough research about the real criminals in the US and abroad. Nothing but LIES in the mainstream media to mislead the masses.

  4. The video is ok. Very simple, but it has a point.

Though, for all intents and purposes, it’s easier said than done.

Separately, carinaragno made a common albeit wrong point. Realistically we perceive ‘evil’ to be perpetrated by our own race members. For instance, the woman who cheats on me–or better stated the women who cheated on me–were Black.

Then there’s the reality of different tiers of Black people. As it were, maybe some Professional Black people are more likely to see “the true colors of White people.” Meanwhile unprofessional Black people aren’t so privvy, excepting the police. And even then, we see the police as necessitated by our own criminal elements. More, we understand Whites aren’t our friends; yet we don’t much have Black friends either.

In essence, while the video can reinforce ideas of creativity. I don’t find it would promote creativity because it really doesn’t address the common misperception raised by carinaragno. As the video itself points out–people don’t really believe that, say, White people are devils. Do you, Brother Kushite Prince?

    • After white people had raped black children, beaten, lynched and burned black people alive for hundreds of years—Malcolm X felt it was appropriate to call them “devils”. What word would you use? I think what he meant was they were acting in a devilish manner towards us. Not that the white man was THE DEVIL in the flesh.I hope that explains it a little better.

      • Brother Kushite Prince, I call White people “White people” or “Occidentals.” I do not dispute that there were misdeeds put against us and I am aware of Malcolm X’s and the NOI’s use of the term. I’m asking you, though, if you believe that White people are the Devil. For instance, do you believe that carinaragno is the Devil?

      • Brother Kushite Prince,

The point of the video is that White people are Devils. The video even implies that the White Person as Devil needs to be believed. Yet, if you, who posted the video do not even believe it then how useful is the video?

Far as I understand, several members of the NOI and adherents believe all White people are devils. They have robust books ‘proving’ it. The video itself points to this idea.

As to me, I do not use such language. Though I realize that I should write a post on the subject. It’s apparent that it falls into the European Paradigm of Individualism and that causes a hundred and one problems. I got a new subject. 🙂 [Though I keep saying I’ll write posts yet I don’t have the best record of getting around to them :-\]

      • You take what you want from the video. What I believe doesn’t matter. What you don’t like–you can discard. I let people decide for themselves what they choose to believe. I don’t agree with every video I put up. The video is still useful–what I believe is irrelevant.
